Best Opt-in plugin for wordpress

Hello,

I'm looking for a free wordpress "Opt-in" plugin, where people can submit their email and I can reply them. I don't want some banner to pop-up, but just some code or plugin which I can put under my post.

Thanks

optimize press is the big one

you could just use contactform 7

it really depends on how you want to send the emails once you have them

    Alright, thanks for your suggestions.

Now which one is a bit more advanced? The thing what I need is that when someone puts his/her email, then he will get automatical letter to his email. Or this is only for paid services?

    +100 for optimize press.

just take a look into it and you will not regret!

Mark Dulisse just came out with a premium plugin called WP Optin Pro that allows you to create the optin box from your WP dashboard as opposed to having to login to Aweber or whatever autoresponder you're using, and create an optin form, copy code, paste in widget, etc. And the Optin Pro plugin is built for marketers w/ very cool graphics.

remember a great companion for in context option-forms is a footer optin strategy- I tested and loved Daniel Watrous's plugin optincrusher. It is a free plugin and one of the slickest engineered wp plugins I have seen. The integrates flawlessly with aweber... just past the aweber html code and go!

Thanks, I'm going to check this out. But how does it work (if at all) on the mobile version of your wordpress blog?

Why not just chuck in a really basic looking Aweber opt-in? e.g.

text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text
    name:
    email:
text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text text

IMO, this is the best way to integrate an opt-in form to high-traffic blog posts.

OptimizePress if fantastic but I wouldn't call it a plugin, it's an entire theme based around Squeeze pages, sales pages and membership pages within WordPress. So that may not be exactly what you are looking for.

Though if you want a simple opt-in form on your blog and nothing else, then simple add a TEXT widget to your side bar and copy and paste the HTML code from your autoresponder.

    Hope this helps.

It appears you are asking about the opt-in code and not the autoresponder itself. These may or may not be the same. In reality you should have an autoresponder such as Aweber, GetResponse, IContact or Mailchimp for sending the emails. (Amazon SES is also a viable option that I have just started playing with.)
Then once you have the autoresponder service chosen, you need to figure out how to get the opt-in code on your site. With aweber you can put the opt-in code for a basic form on a Wordpress site quite easily, however you won't get the fancy features of a dedicated plugin such as Subscribers Magnet. These dedicated plugins will make create an opt-in form in headers, footers, exit pops, entry pops, sidebars, etc.
Personally I use Aweber for the autoresponder and WP Subscribers Magnet or Instabuilder for the opt-in plugin.
    I hope this helps!
