Where should I start my IM business??

Ok, ok... I already have one site doing well... But its my business site and is totally focused in one small niche....

I want to expand my portfolio into different realms, niches, etc etc

Where do you suggest I start??

Treat me as a complete and toal newb...

      This is about as productive as asking "how long is a piece of string?"

      The easiest way to make money online fast is to provide a service.

      The best way to make passive income in the long run is to build an email list and market to that list as either an affiliate or create your own products.

      Find something you're passionate about. Become an expert in it. Find a problem people have. Create a solution. Drive targeted traffic to that solution. Problem solved.

      Or just randomly throw up MFA sites around keywords that get 1,000 searches a month and $1 CPC like the rest of us. The choice is yours.

    Since you have your company site, surely you have an opt in and are building a list, so the most important thing is the research to find a profitable niche and then build a list.

    This is the general steps of what I do.

    Start with market and keyword research looking for something to sell that people are
    already buying. Keyword with over 2500 exact global monthly searches and less than 250000 results when you Google it without quotes. This took the most time but is better than doing all the other work in a poor market or too much competition.

    Once you find the market and keyword, find high quality, high converting affiliate programs to offer. I personally check them out myself so that I have experience with them before I promote them. Find several related to your market from different networks so that all your income is NOT tied to one company.

    Buy domain name with main keyword in it even if have to add words to make it work to get a .com domain.

    Put up a highly converting text only (no graphics, no video, no pictures) squeeze page that goes over the customers problems and how this is their solution.

    Make sure you have analytics on the pages to track your progress.

    Connect that to an autoresponder.

    The emails should give good value before promoting. To begin with, only promote one small thing in the PS for those who want all the information now and are willing to pay a little for it. However make sure the rest of the emails offer real value.

    Set up a blog on the same domain name domainname.com/blog
    Write some totally unique, original, never before published articles for your niche.

    Post on Qondio.com. Ping it.

    Once screened per their rules post on Ideamarketers.com. Ping it.

    3 days later post it on your own blog. Ping it.

    Post the links to your new blog post all over the social networks you belong too, at least facebook and twitter.

    Create a 30 second video use the free animoto.com account. Use simple pictures and text and use the music they have for free.

    Download video to your computer.

    Upload the video to youtube.com.

    Find 3 forums that are very active in your niche that allow links in the signatures, set up accounts with them and complete the profile with your domain url.

    Post on all three forums several times a day with very valuable information, just helpful and not trying to sell anything.
    Once you make your first sale, check your analytics to see what kind of traffic it took, the conversion of traffic to sign ups and the conversion of sign ups to sale to see what it will take to make the amount of money you want.

    If the product pays you $25 per sale, and you want to make $100 per week, you need 4 sales a week. Take whatever traffic it took to get one sale and now increase it by whatever multiple it takes to make 4 sales and then increase whatever steps you took to get there.

    Once you are making enough money, find some cost effective virtual assistance to do each step for you and start the whole process over with another niche.

    Just do the same thing that you've been doing with the site that is making money, then put it on autopilot and let it garnish more new sales for you. If you want to go into alot of different niches, then you should consider affiliate marketing as the way to go... it will save you product development time, and sales letter creation time.

    Do keyword research, try to select a niche which you have a general interest and knowledge (it makes motivation easier).

    Hey there,

    Learn to do niche research, go for niches which interests you, build an authority site along that niche OR build multiple micro niche sites to expand your portfolio.

    That is the process, break down it & start doing everything (take action) to comeback here with a success story in next few months.
