Don't know about any others, but the version of webinar optin that I last looked at the code used email to sign up to both gotowebinar as well as aweber rather than an API...

I ain't used it anymore so I don't know if that methodology still works or if the plugin has been updated to use an API...(I lost my log in credentials and forgot about it)

But a programmer who knows what she is doing can add more email addresses pretty easily unless I am missing something...Not sure why no one hasn't implemented yet (maybe they will now)....

I have started using WP Webinar Pro, but now notice that my registration pages are serving up an Ad at the bottom. This was never mentioned in any sales copy for the plugin. Is that what others are experiencing. I didn't think this would happen since I paid for the plugin.

I'm not seeing that on the version I'm using. Maybe you have a newer version. Can you post a screenshot?

In a link on the ad, it said I was receiving these due to something called page rank, It gave me an option to disable, which I did. Now the ads are gone. This may not have had anything to do with the plugin itself. Wierd. First time I have ever seen this.

I refreshed several times and I'm not seeing the ad from that link you gave.

Maybe you have some type of adware on your computer.

Where did you go to disable the "page rank" thing? Was it in the wordpress panel for the software?

Robert Plank has a script called "Webinar Optin" that I used a while ago. Google to find it...That script allows you to sign up to an email list as well as the GoToWebinar event.

As far as sending to more than one list, you can set that up as an automation inside of aweber. When someone signs up to list1 you can add them to list2 with automation rules.

I assume the registration pages for the webinars are driven via a Facebook Fan Page.

Hey man,

Like Ron I tested the opt in form and reloaded the page several times but cannot see any ads.

We are using WP Webinar Pro and are not getting this issue as far as we are aware.

Have you lodged a support ticket with Jason??
