What is the best flow after the squeeze page?

What is the best way to make a one time offer, after a visitor signs up at your squeeze page, and is promised something like a video or free ebook, ect.

Do you simply send them to the long winded sales page for the one time offer, or do you send them to a short page with a few bullet points on the benefits of the one time offer, with a link to the one time offer sales page, and let them decide if they are interested enough to go take a look?

I am building a new site, and not sure what works best.

    I would not suggest you hit someone with a OTO directly after opting into a squeeze page.

    think about it this way - They don't really know you at that point, they just left their email address to grab your free report (or whatever you are selling) and then before they get that you are trying to sell them something.

    A OTO should really only be offered after they have already purchased something.

    Of course I am not saying a certain percentage of people may not actually buy a OTO at that point, they may, but from experience building a relationship with your subscriber is better before trying to sell them something.

    If I were you I would give them the great information on the squeeze page and follow up with a few emails with more great content, and then start introducing some offers into the mix.

      There's no way I could predict which route would work
      best for YOUR traffic to YOUR site with YOUR offer.

      You need to split-test it and track your results.

      Send half the traffic to the long sales copy and send
      the other half to the shorter copy.

      Then count sales.

      Your visitors will give you the RIGHT answer every time.
