Show me the ULTIMATE venue website!

Hi folks,

First of all, thanks again to all of those who helped to inspire me into writing a killer web design proposal for one of my prospective clients. I'm now working in overdrive thanks to your help.

Okay, my next step is to design a mockup (in photoshop) of what their website might look like. Just to re-cap - this is a muiltipurpose wedding reception/live music/conference centre type of venue. Obviously I'm now searching for similar sites, for inspiration - but then I thought hey this is a good opportunity for the Warriors to show examples of well-made websites of venues in their local area. This could be a cool way to highlight how things should (or shouldn't) be done, for those pursuing the "offline cash cow" route to riches.

So, if you have any great (or terrible) examples of venue websites in your area, please post the links in this thread. Hotels, restaurants, live music venues, any business of that type really.

Here's an example of a fairly awful website for a rock venue in my area >>>Front Page<<<. The design is too busy, and it looks like a kid made it!

I'm looking at putting together some kind of ebook based on my experiences of approaching venues with a view to giving their websites a makeover. When I've had success with 4 or 5 venues I think I'll be qualified to at least give some hints on tips on how to go about it. It's about time I gave something back to this forum!
