Getting free traffic from EZA without writing articles

Yesterday I was reading a thread where the author made a really great suggestion. This suggestion was to find articles on EZA that are getting good traffic and commenting on them.

I didn't realize you could comment on EZA articles. I thought this was a great suggestion and many people agreed.

Here is one quick tip that I'm now implementing: Subscribe to the RSS feed for the EZA category that you are involved with. Whenever you go through your blog reading (I like Google Reader), you'll now also see new EZA articles that might be of interest to you. If you are adding value (you should not spam), then using an RSS reader and commenting on EZA articles should be a great way to generate backlinks and get some traffic.

You might get a little bit of traffic from doing this, but I'm almost certain that any links that you place in there are "nofollow" so, commenting on random articles in your niche might not be the best use of your time. However, if you can find articles that are PR2+ and comment on them, the links might hold a little weight even though they are "nofollow".

I would rather write and publish my own article rather than doing this.
