How to create salesletter page using blogspot/wordpress?

i have 1 question here...
is that possible to create a salesletter page using blogspot or wordpress?
im doing some research and manage to build a salesletter using blogspot but im having problem on how to link to the thank you page or download page.do i have to create another blogspot?if so,the URL will not be protected and people easily can download it.
and also,my salesletter look ok in Firefox but terrible in IE,is it related to CSS?
i think this is a best way to cut cost,just buy custom domain,and people do not know it stand on blogspot
but its really works if you just creating a landing pages!!
so,wondering how to go with same process with Wordpress?i think it is more easier to do it than blogspot....
anyone can solve my problems with the blogspot??
