Hello Warriors, i have been trying my hands in writing articles with ezinearticles.com though i have not succeeded in having one approval. I know i will soon, I want to know how to ping the articles when approved. So can some one help by giving information as to how to ping articles for easier spread online. Which article directories will be most suited for these? Thanking you as you contribute to my knowledge of this subject. |

Jo, Not sure what you mean by "Pinging" the articles. Pinging is usually for blog posts and refers to the notifying of site's like pingomatic.com of your new posts, through the inbuilt pinging function of your blog software. If you're spending big amounts of time writing articles for EZA and they're not getting approved, you should be publishing those articles to your own blog/site. If you want exposure to the articles, try submitting them to the owner of a related blog in your niche rather than an article directory and you'll likely get a lot more traffic for it. Just an idea ![]() Andrew |

I did a google search for you . I hope this article Helps you ? Cheers Gary L Blog and Ping Author Gary Gear ArticlesBase dot com Generating traffic to your website is probably the challenge of the day. Google, Yahoo, MSN, and other leading search engines earn billions of dollars in revenue in sending traffic to websites that advertise with them. Peppered all over the internet are offers to help you get more traffic - most are scams and some are legitimate. In the rush for paid advertising, we tend to overlook many of the resources available to us free of cost and easy to use. Blogs are one such resource that has been shrouded with much myth and has come to have a bad rap as a promotional device. If you have a new website that you are waiting to have indexed then you may trust the following steps to have your website indexed by Google/MSN within a week or two. Install a blogging software such as WordPress on your domain name and add a link from your home page to your blog page. Then change the blog settings to notify ping sites everytime you add a post and or a comment. To begin with add a post to your blog 2-3 times a day for the first 5 days at random intervals of the day. The blog posts must be not more than 6-7 lines long and must be the same theme of your website. Write something useful, something that you yourself might find handy. In every blog post put in a link back to your home page. After 5 days decrease the number of blog posts to once every day. The blog will generate an RSS feed that you can use to syndicate in various places such as Yahoo 360, Google Sitemap, Microsoft Live/MSN spaces, etc. This will get the bots onto your website fast. The blogs by themselves will add interactivity to your website as people will use your blog's popularity to propel their own by adding comments that link back to their website. You can repeat this process over again in public blogs, like blog spot and live journal. However, make sure you never go over board with your efforts in blogging and pinging. Excessive blogs and pings will cause the search engines to believe that you are spamming them and will ignore or ban your website. It really is quite simple - it takes a time commitment of about 15 minutes a day for a week to get a steady stream of visitors. |

When you want to get higher rankings for your article it's not called "ping". If you want to achieve better rankings than you need to add it to web 2.0 sites and bookmark them. After you bookmark them the best way to continue is to add them as your website address in blog post you add comments for, websites that you participate in, and anywhere you have the option to add your website address. This method helped me achieve good results for my articles. Hope this helps. P.S Why do you don't get your articles approved? Mike G Hersh |
