Has anyone had success with free trials via SEO landing pages?
I'm currently working with a $25/conversion offer for a free trial subscription to a relevant service.
However, this is the first time I've tried to push free content, and the landing page (offsite affiliate link) doesn't do a good job to seal the deal, it's mostly just an information entry page, which I can imagine would make a good deal of my readers skeptical.
My question is, how exactly do I make my users feel safe entering their information with this offer? The site is legit and has more than 10 years of a positive reputation, and it really is a free trial to a premium service that does not get promoted. A few of my keywords are still dancing their way to the top, but the biggest one is already at the bottom of page one so ideally I'd like to optimize it as soon as possible. I am thinking of redirecting them to a "start here" page somewhere in the article, and listing some awesome services that they'd be interested in while explaining how to navigate the site at the same time.
My only issue at this point is conversions. I have a few forums that I can promote the offer on, but I'd like to hear other's opinions and experiences before I promote something that will be getting 1000-4000 free potential views. Even if I only get a 1% bonus from making this post, that's $250-1000 dollar for it, so I'm ok with waiting
