About creating & selling WP themes etc.

I have a little knowledge about HTML & CSS and had a cool idea and just wanted some opinions on it.

What If I would create some mini themes for WP like a squeeze page or anything like that and sell it here on WF and / or other places..

Could that be something successful? I don't have the skills to create killer WP themes and sell them on places like theme forest but I could possibly create simple clean one page WP themes that could be useful for IM..

Any thoughts on this?

    Why don't you brush-up on your coding skills if you already have the basics it should not be that hard for you?
    I say this because even on the WSO forum people are offering good basic themes starting for as little as $5 dime sales, so you will have to compete with them.

      If that is what you enjoy doing, why not "get good" at designing quality themes?
      There is always a market for quality designers, and then you could expand your skills and your services to design, redesign, update or upgrade sites for owners who don't know how.
      If you really enjoy it, there is a market for that, but I agree with salegurus that there are plenty of cheap or otherwise free themes too readily available to make much money.
      Just my thoughts.

    I suggest you to try it. Becaus by giving a try you will know if its good or not for you. And I believe all IMers here love to use great wordpress theme. Means that the niche "wordpress theme" here is always great.
