Anyone having success with -free- ebook marketing?

Hello Warriors,

My question is:

Is anyone having success (meaning: making money or builing a responsable email list, etc.) with -free- ebook marketing (giveaway)?

I mean giving away free ebooks/reports/freebies with your own affiliate links, etc. inside.

On my hard drive there are dozends of good quality plr ebooks. Thats why I am asking. There are a lot of freebie-, dokument sharing-websites and ebook directories. Is there a software or service for "mass ebook submission" availible? Like Taffic Geyser for viedo submission i. e..

I am looking forward to your thoughts and suggestions on this topic.

Happy carneval and cheers!

Marc

Depends what you consider successful. I personally found that they aren't as effective as they used to be, especially in terms of making money. However they still work for list building. I've never heard of a mass ebook submission tool, but I'm sure if it's available it's been used and abused by now.

I've had some success with the free ebook model. I encourage people to host my ebook on their website, and they do exactly that. And i know, because i've seen many website owners host my ebook on their website. I fill my ebook up with my sales product pitch page, along with a link to sign up to my email newsletter.

      Hi Randall,

How do you encourage people to host your ebook on their site. How do they benefit?

    There are many variables,
it's not what you do its HOW you do, so much of your success depends on how you go about marketing your free ebook and to what quality is your product etc etc

Free ebook marketing is a great way to build your list.

If your ebook has solid content it can make things easier for you in the long run to sell your products.

However, what I have noticed that works even better than the ebooks is video.

It's also easier to put together and is perceived as more valuable to a lot of people.

Free eBooks are AWESOME for building profitable lists.

Not only will a good free eBook skyrocket your opt in rate but if you fill it with pre-sell material for a paid product then you'll find yourself converting sales very nicely indeed!
