Affiliate Tracking IDs

Just a quick rant...

Don't ya hate affiliate programs that have no way of inserting a tracking ID?

I mean you want to sell for them (whether it's a registration, product, service, etc.), but they don't allow you to track what's performing, isn't it 2009?

    I don't know which one you are talking about ... But idevaffiliate, postaffiliatepro (inhouse), clickbank.com and many others do allow special tags.

    If there really are still programs that don't allow proper tracking, I'm shocked. Tracking what works and what doesn't is the only way to refine your efforts, otherwise you could be piling loads of effort in for no return.

    If you find something you really want to promote, but there's no proper tracking, try contacting the merchant to tell them you're interested but they need to sort out this obvious problem first.
