Seems so hard sometimes without the results

As with life, it seems pretty damn hard to continue doing what you are doing when the results, in this case money isn't coming in yet.

I find it rather discouraging sometimes that you are doing what is considered right. Everyone tells you it's right. In the case of internet marketing, it's not about finding the magic pill or listening to self-proclaimed gurus. It's about hard work, patience, building relationships with others. And yet, the results aren't really coming yet.

I can't really help but wonder, "When!?" whenever I am working hard on my blog.

Just a little rant! I am not giving up at all, but just saying the IM journey can be pretty tough.

    Hi Aldentan,

Yes it can be tough, but this is really the time to re-evaluate, see what's working and what is not. Then focus on the stuff that is working until you see a tangible result.

You never fail until you give up

Don't give up. We all go through that many different times. It will eventually click and you'll get a winning method/campaign going and you'll be able to scale it up and use what you've learned from it. Keep working hard and the results will come.

Oh the link is the signature is something me and my mentor are trying out. If you want to go to the full blog you go to go the domain name itself.

I'm confused? What is your strategy? Because, If your commenting about my signature I think you've mistaken the purpose of mine.

Don't give up! Maybe take a step back and look at what you are doing and see if you can change something that is not working. Are you only concentrating on your blog? are you getting the traffic to it? what are you doing to get the traffic? ask yourself all the questions and see what you can do to improve it.
Good luck and keep going with it, it will come.

Just sharing some advice a mentor of mine once told me!!!

We all go through a trial period in life. A time that demands our efforts. When all the glitter goes away, and things get rough. When you have nothing but your dreams and goals in mind but you can't see them happening any time soon.

      Most people give up.

Not knowing that success was around the corner.

In other words, you might almost be there!!!

      So just keep going!!!

Don't label your success to the amount of money you make yet.

Instead count your success on all the things you've learned so far. I'm sure you're a lot smarter and a lot more business minded than you were when you first started out. Don't you agree???

You probably know more about IM than most people around you right???

And I'm convinced that since you're on this forum your already ahead of 90% of the rest of the world that doesn't even know this type of stuff exist.

      That's a success all in it's self...

Find a way to be happy with that and don't give up!!!

      Best of luck

BTW... I just visited your blog. I'm not sure what you are doing to make money with it... it's not very apparent except for using it for branding and letting people get to know you just like your doing with your ty page after you optin to your optin page. BTW great strategy on that part....

However, your money is here ->>> http://alden-tan.com/free-guide

I'd start focusing on that because that's the money maker... your blog is your brand maker :-)

At least that's what I believe.

      Yes you got that right!

I was taught to make that squeeze page. I am now testing promoting an affiliate product. The blog is where I add value and keep writing content.

Yep, I am trying to drive traffic to that page now.

Hey, yeah this is the feeling that everyone goes through I guess and it is also a feeling that keeps coming back as you progress because no matter what level you reach, you always strive to get to the next level.

The entrepreneurial spirit that brings you into IM will drive you onwards and each attainment, once gained, will slide into a sense of failing as that becomes the norm.

The thoughts that I could add to anyone feeling this way is obviously keep going but moreso, keep focused, clearly understand your goals because that helps yu achieve, network in a positive yet aggressive way and partner up in a meaningful way with as many people as you have the opportunity to do so. Then suddenly the snowball effect will kick in, can't say when why or how but as long as you remain in control of your destination, it will happen.

And oh I forgot to mention, get on those skype groups, they are awesome for networking for sure!

    Well, don't give up!
Take a look at Mike Geary, the author of The Truth About Abs. He now makes $1,000,000 a year. In the first 2 years, he made nothing.

There are only two types of people in the world : those who keep going and those who give up.The ones who give up fail of course and the ones who keep going keep learning at the very least. I would rather progress than stop. It is good to get in touch with how you feel about what you do as well, it can help you to re-evaluate what is important. Keep going!

Thanks for all the encouragement guys!

I know what it is to really not give up. From what I learnt, it seems like nothing comes easy and a tough period IS inevitable. And then the real champions and real successful people are the ones who fight through and actually gain the rewards
