Upload the video to YouTube.

Copy the URL of the page containing the video.

Paste the URL into the forum's "reply" box where you want your video to go.

That should do it...

Be sure to put the You Tube video URL in [url] tags, like (without the spaces in [url] tags):

Hi guys i've tried it by just inserting the url and it just shows the title of the video url....I was hoping it would show the youtube video box so you just hit play, unless I've done it all wrong (which is likely!)

I found myself that when I write a new post, I can include just a link to Youtube video and it will be done.

But, if I edit my thread and just put the link, it will show just the title only.

That's weird.

So, in case you write a new post, you can just place your url there.
But when you edit the post, you have to use what Kevin suggests.

Hi everyone,

I've added it to my wso http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...tml#post323443 but it just seems to show the title.....perhaps it is as mentioned above, that once you've edited the post and added it later it doesn't show up as a video.

right inside the page, can you let me know exactly what you added, I didn't use the hyperlink button just inserted the url on the page.

HI Colleen,

I just pasted the full URL of the page. I've tried posting, but it converts to a video.

Try this:

Don't use the "quick reply" form.

Instead, click the "post reply" button, on the left after the last post.

Now, make sure the following 2 options IN BOLD are checked:

Show your signature
Automatically parse links in text
Automatically embed media (requires automatic parsing of links in text to be on).
Automatically retrieve titles from external links
Disable smilies in text

This is really about all I can think of...
