Copyright and News Aggregation

Hey,

I have the Domain hackersworld.co.uk, I want to aggregate all of the hacking news on the internet for example the recent Facebook hacking conviction.

I'm wondering if I can do this without getting in trouble via copyright laws?

I think the huffingtonpost just aggregates all of its content and doesn't get in trouble?

Thanks

Ricky

Just because someone else does it definitely doesn't mean it is okay and I would bet that a company as big as them has contracts for that.

However, there are quite a few news sites that are okay with their articles being syndicated as long as you link back to the original.

The Huffington Post aggregates some content ... not all. They hire a lot of journalists to create content and I would imagine that they ask permission before they aggregate content.

You need permission to use other people's content. Some people will care, some will not.
