The key to my success was - Giving a lot of value up front. If you offer tremendous value up-front, people will happily open their wallets for you. Most people are scared to give good info for free and they suffer the consequences in the long run.

I think the key to success it patience and perseverance (once you've found a method that works).

One of the biggest killers in the IM game is giving up because it's too much work, or seems boring.

Having a clear vision and goal of what I want, working my ass of on that goal. I made a plan that I am going to put all my energy on creating content such as videos, articles, blog posts... Drive traffic to my landing pages with free and some paid traffic, build a responsive list and at the end deliver value to that list, and of course sell to them over and over again.

For me what makes the difference is motivation. I had to find a really good motivation that was something more then I just felt like I should quit. I knew I wanted to get pregnant and that I couldn't smoke up when I had a baby to think about. I also felt like if I blew that motivation, I might never have another reason strong enough to motivate me to quit. So that made me realize that once I was quit, I had to never go back to it again.

It worked for me. Now I know that there are other reasons that are good enough reasons to quit. But it was the right decision to me to say I was never going to go back. It helped me to fight temptation to go back to my old ways.

I had to find a really good motivation that was something more then I just felt like I should quit.

I think this play a big role in persons who are not making money online after a period of type.. They just need to be motivated by someone or something..

When I stopped simply reading about IM and actually started taking action, I was surprised at how quickly I started earning money. Eliminating distractions is also helpful. Spending all day checking emails and reading eBooks does not make a career in IM. You've got to constantly be building your business. I also learned to focus on one project at a time. While I am primarily a copywriter, and spend most of my time writing for my clients, I also have smaller sideline projects in Adsense and other affiliate sites that earn me a small income, plus Kindle books I have written, and the occasional domain name sale. But I don't do any of those sideline things on the days I'm copywriting. I concentrate on one thing at a time, one project a day.

So I guess taking action and focusing on one thing at a time were the keys to getting started and seeing success from my efforts for me.

  I found it was sticking to one thing, and one thing only. I picked my most profitable site, and just focused on maximising traffic in as many different sources as possible. Once I mastered 4 or 5 different traffic sources, I would move onto a new site and just repeat the process.
  
  I honestly believe sticking to one thing, is the big key to success in Internet Marketing. Instead of having loads of different thoughts and ideas floating around your head, you should channel all of your efforts into a proven method.

Creating a 90 day business plan was the best thing I have ever done. Start with your main goal whether it is to build a list or build affiliate sites or anything else. Then from your end date begin to work backwards. Make smaller monthly goals and then continue to weekly goals. At the beginning of each week write out your weekly goals and break them down into the days of the week.

I have found its much easier to work backwards from your main goal instead of working forward. I might be crazy but it helps me stay motivated when I have a daily, weekly, and monthly plan. It sounds like alot of work but it is so important to running a business.

I learned a lot about online marketing, found what I enjoyed and stuck with it until I started making some money. Then I improved upon that.

Keep learning and stick with it. Outsource when you can.

Key to success is 1) Persistence 2) Focus and then you try to find out system. That
you can run your business model i.e affiliate marketing or CPA, Social media. It's good
device a system, and follow it. After a short while you can tweek a little bit and it becomes much quicker to do your work.

Sticking to one thing & not jumping all over the place. Realizing that there are many ways to make money online, but that doesn't mean you have to try everything at once. Getting good at many things, and then focusing your energy on one at a time, until you get your profits where they need to be.

Never stop coming up with new ideas.... My partner and I won two CPA Networks, 3 phone center projects, own several of our own offers, and run campaigns ourselves. We are also working on an incent network and site. Once we get one project secure we move on to the next so that there is always something in the mix. IM is an ever evolving industry so flexibility and the willingness to change are key.

For you to accomplish what you want in life, the why is more important than the how. The why is a powerful motivator and is the biggest factor to getting things done. The why needs to be big enough for you to change your behaviours and to repeat those behaviours frequently and long enough to put the new necessary habits into your daily life.

  Oh yes, have a mentor and follow every step he/she teaches you. It is so easy to try everything, just stick to one strategy and follow through. When that strategy works, repeat and rinse . There is alot of work involved within IM, but don't be put off - be a soldier!
