Promote the Forum and WSO's

Ok,

So I have done some searching and some reading but can't seem to figure out how to promote the Forum or WSO's here.

Does the Forum have an affiliate program, sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am sure I have over looked something.....

      Yeah, warriorplus -- it's like $3 a month or something. Apparently you can't promote other peoples WSO in your sig -- just found that out.

      its interesting that you have to get a Silver Membership (monthly) in order to promote anything on this forum.

      I always thought that you shouldn't have to buy anything to be an affiliate of a product......

      I am not complaining because it is a low cost.....but still

      well....I will ponder this one.

        Warrior Plus is not affiliated with the Warrior Forum .... Mike Lantz owns Warrior Plus and that's his system.

    The ability to promote is not the only thing that the membership offers though.

    Maybe by paying to promote, people will be less likely to promote crap?

        Hi

        May I just post my 25c worth. You said that you didn't think affiliates needed to buy in order to promote...... That's fine as a concept, but don't you think that affiliates would be better educated about what they are promoting.... Or the site they are promoting, if they had some experience of it?

        Ok...... I know I'm going to get flamed for that comment, but being an affiliate isn't just about promoting products. It's about engaging the ethos of the company/products you promote. Successful marketers know, they will get paid, they know the products will get delivered, they know there is a refund policy, they KNOW they can pick up the phone and speak to the affiliate manager. That how affiliate sales work....... Not just getting a link and blasting it out to everybody.

        Shoot....... I sound like I'm ranting..... Don't mean to...... Carry on all :-)

          Thanks for all the replys, Like I said I wasn't complaining was just interesting is all.

          I don't have a list to promote to, just a couple of friends interested in what I was doing....Word of Mouth.

          So I will just use my referral link to see if they want to be a member and also include the wso thread at this time.

          Here's where things start to get clearer. Or muddier, depending on how you look at it.

          The forum itself has no affiliate program at present.

          WarriorPlus is a separate system, owned and operated by Mike Lantz. It is connected to the forum only in the sense that Mike created it to provide a service that the forum itself did not provide. It's an affiliate management system for WSO sellers.

          Different owners, different businesses.

    Ken,
    You can refer anyone to the warrior forum via the link provided in your profile. However you don't get paid to do so.
    As for being an affliate for WSO's. Through this forum there is NO affliate program. However sites like warriorplus amd jvzoo let you be an affliate of many wso's. Neither site is affliated with this one in any way.

      A lot of people sign up, and don't follow through. Others follow through, but aren't good affiliates. You could have some actively promoting, just not able to bring any traffic.

      But best way to find out, message them to see if they need any help promoting you.

        As others have pointed out, Warrior Plus is not a part of this forum but it is probably the most popular affiliate program for WSO's. In regards to the monthly charge to promote products, as a product vendor I am all for it. Any little barrier to entry is always going to get rid of some of the time wasters. If someone is not serious enough to be able to afford the 48 dollars per year then they are not the kind of person I want promoting my products anyway.

    Always remember that the price of something is what someone is willing to pay for it.
    The Warrior Forum can charge because, well, they can. People will pay.
    Once your business can charge for just about anything with most people willingly paying, then you have set up a very nice operation!
