Promoting a Squeeze Page in CraigsList - Still works?

Hi guys,
I would like to ask you for opinions about this topic, I started 2 weeks ago posting ads in different countries, promoting my squeeze page, but checking my Google Analytics, it is not still giving me any visitors yet.

I know that 2 weeks is little time to evaluate the performance of a traffic source, but in my own experience, I had a lot of more effectiveness from other methods in less time, and even got several subscribers as well.

As any other marketer, I am looking for the best traffic sources that suits me, and craigslist was one place that I still needed to give a try.

Is it worth the time for squeeze page promotions?

    Personally i don't think so. Try it for a couple more weeks and if you still have no results, move on to something else.

    Are you following up on your ads the next day to see if they are posted.
    If you are offering products that are completely unrelated to the thread topics on CL, or you are doing affiliate marketing then your ads are probably being taken down.

    I am placing the ads as service posts, in the "small biz ads" section. Maybe I am in the second category you mentioned, but they are being posted successfully.

      I've used Craigslist for getting leads in my Real Estate business plenty of times.

      It's a great way of getting extra traffic and I know plenty of people who still use it.

      Maybe if your not getting that much traffic you might want to look at the ads you're posting.

      They might need some tweaking to get the people clicking.

      I use clickable image ads that redirect to my squeeze pages and they all work fine for me.

      Hope this helps in some way.

        Is your product creating pages to sell?
        Are you using an image ad or a link on Craigslist?
