Default Quick Question: How to Track Newsletter Open Rates???

Hey there,

I had a bit of a aweber/list debacle last month, and consequentially, I am mailing my newsletter from a bulk mail sender software, instead of the usual hosted autoresponder.

It is very important that I track the open rates of this next round of emails, but the problem is this - When I use the tracking software that comes with the bulk mailer, all my emails get junked into spam folders (I tested on several accounts).

I think this is because the open rates are tracked by a 1x1 pixel image in the email, which alerts the spam filters.

Does anyone know of another good method, or software, (image-less) that will track open rates?

I'd be much appreciative of any help.

Thanks,
Sunny

Woah...crazy...I just posted a thread about something 'similar' to this over at What's YOUR opinion?

And to answer your question, I use Email Marketer by Interspire. You can track your open rates WITHOUT having an image in the eMail - it's a very powerful piece of software. It does, however, come with a hefty price tag. Interspire.com is where you can find it to check it out.
