Do I need to be a "Full Warrior" to get clients?

-----> newbie alert <----

I'm fully aware that there is a "Warriors For Hire" section in this site which helps warrior get clients for the services they provide.

Unfortunately for me, I can't afford to pay the $20 per month..... yet.

I want to offer my writing services to other warriors looking to hire quality writers.

So do I need to upgrade my membership to get them? Am I forbidden to post threads like this until I pay for the

Thank You.

Your "free" option for the moment is to put this in your signature:

I want to offer my writing services to other warriors looking to hire quality writers.
And link that to a page on your blog with your offer, conditions, sample work, and rates.

I think you can post in the WFH without being a war room member - but I'm not completely sure.

If you do not have money to spare you can start replying to posts in the Wanted - Members looking to hire you section. But point is , start somewhere otherwise you will never earn your $20.

Hi. I think you pay $20 for the posting war room member or not. And this lasts 6-8 hours. So for every time you want your ad to appear on page 1, you pay another $20.

I believe WSO's stay in page 1 for 6-8 hours (as new threads are more frequent), but in the Warriors for Hire section they stay longer.

To the OP, you do NOT need War Room membership to post in the Warriors for Hire section (but you do for WSO's). There are threads there posted by regular members who have paid $20.

a simple signature link would self-advertise your service...

    Recommend using your sig.

If you have to you should set up a free blog to advertise your services and then take payments via paypal (which you can hopefully access).

You will certainly not need to upgrade to a full warrior membership in order to get clients.

I have found clients on here without ever having paid for the full membership.

Recommending she place the ad in her signature is all good and well but with less than 20 posts it is not going to make a whole lot of a difference for her.

As someone else mentioned, try and reply to some jobs in the 'Warriors Looking to Hire You' section, earn that first $20, and then post your own job. If you're a good writer it shouldn't take long.

$1 for 500 words article.. You kidding me :O

I am a writer as well and the least I charge is $15 per article with word count of 500-750. Even this is really low but cant help it..

True that! $15 per article is still low. I see freelance writers charging $100 per article and still depending on the article's length.. now if i can only penetrate that market.......

Did you consider to start writing for iwriter.com. Check them out to see if you can make money with them. You can chose which articles (and how many) you will write for their customers.

      Excerpt from iWriter.com
Question: How much do writers get paid?
Answer: Writers get paid 81% of the price of each article. The rest is taken by Paypal transaction fees, as well as Copyscape quality checks to ensure the article is unique. This leaves a profit of $1.62 for a 300 word article, $2.43 for a 500 word article and $4.05 for 700 word article for the writer. If you receive a "special request" from a requester you receive another 5% (i.e. 86%) earnings per article, which equates to $3.01 for a 500 word article.

$3.01 for a 500 word article is very very low...

This thread makes me feel like I charge too much!

People pay it, though, and I make sure my writing is high-quality, engaging and appropriate for the audience. I couldn't do that working for $3.01...I'd need to write them fast to be able to earn a living.
