Should I remove my old articles?

I´m gonna start fresh with with great new articles that actually provides help to the reader.
The old ones are not the best in comparison I to be honest they were written fast with no real purpose to be informative.

I will post the articles on my site but later on ezine articles too in the hopes that they will be interesting and be picked up by other people and distributed.

I don´t want them looking at my old articles and run away, hehe, should I delete the old ones from ezine, or start another pen name with the new ones? (we are talking the same niche now) does ezine articles have any problems with 2 pens names for 1 niche?

Sincerely
Karl

    It is a judgement call.

The trade-off is links versus reputation.

I'd day that once you do have good articles in place, then take down the other articles, but not before.

If the articles are on your own site, how about leaving them there, and rewriting them so they can help your reputation instead of destroy it. That way, you get some Google juice for age and you won't have any links to your website going dead.

I agree with the idea of rewriting your old content. That way, you can add something new, like a comparison of the ideas that you've compiled in the old version and what's actually happening now. Well, given that your topic's something that has had changes since you've written something about it.

I also agree that you should re-write the old content, BUT keep the link structure, URLs, titles, keywords etc all in tact.
