Like, web hosting, or hosting related products as in... email marketing, backup services, etc? Regardless of your answer - I'd go with Commission Junction. They have tons of programs, most of which are easy to get accepted in to, and commissions vary of course, but many are very, very good.

I agree that CJ is great and I use quite a few affiliate programs there but in fact most of the programs accepts you easily only if you are from the US. I often have to write additional mails to request approval after automatic rejects.

    Just a question, Dave ...

When people have done a great deal of methodical, time-consuming work (sometimes even an enormous amount of work) identifying, analysing and selecting such programs, many of which are quite obscure, from which they can earn so much money, often on the basis of their perceived low competition, why on Earth would they be willing to identify them in public?

The "2011-2014 Outlook" type of books on Amazon appeal to specialized/regional interests in this niche and sell for hundreds of dollars a pop. Similarly, network solutions equipment and the more obscure internet-related products on Amazon can go for $10,000 or more. It all depends on well you can massage your customer base into making these large purchases.

the opposite side of the question is also something that many would be unwilling to divulge:

How do you find and target buyers of high end products for webmasters?

Go local. Yes, there are some high-commission products out there for the global market. However, there are many local businesses willing to pay hundreds or thousands of dollars for new customers.

There is leg work with this arrangement, but you don't compete with other affiliates. I bet right now in your town are small businesses who would pay hundreds of dollars for new clients/customers.

I'm doing this in my backyard and it's going great. Started late in 2011. I spent a few weeks cranking up some sites and getting them ranked locally. I'm generating a couple sales a week and it's only started.
