Down 10K, Need to make 5k next month, Got any advice

Hello WF, long time lurker, I hate for my first post to be asking for advice rather than giving advice since this community is so helpful and I hate to not be giving back right now.
But let me cut the B.S, I had some money tied into the Forex with one of those bots and I am currently down a large chunk of money ( around 10k ). Now that is the bad part, the good part is that I have about 3-4 weeks to pay my bills ( credit cards, car insurance, rent etc ). So I wanted to know if anyone can help me build myself back so that I can get back on my feet. I have tried e-whoring but that did not go well in my favor. And i'm still struggling with affiliate marketing using c.l gumtree etc.
I want to put together a realistic plan using online money making methods so I can at least survive to next month and beyond and the job market is looking ****ty in my area and I dont really have much family to lean on. So if anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it. Also I hate to put this out there, because I know this sounds like a b.s sob story and I dont want to waste the community's time but if any of you guys can help me with this I would gladly appreciate it.

Well don't take this the wrong way but this is your first post ....

* If I had access to $10,000 (even if I was a newbie) and access to this forum I would have turned that $10,000 into an easy $10,000 a month income. This forum is a gold mine just waiting to be mined.

* If your bills are $5,000 a month, then you certainly are living way past your means. I mean come on dude $5k a month in bills is a great deal of money especially considering the average American only makes $23,000 a year. This is poverty level in the USA.

* You say you have been lurking awhile but yet you invest in forex instead of creating your own product and building a business... I just do not get this.

* There is no get rich quick scheme, this is a myth... Maybe this is why you messed in forex not sure but the fact is unless you have the money to burn you should not be messing around in forex.

* Looks like it may be time to start cutting up some credit cards and lowering those bills.

I don't think it is possible to do it that fast, except maybe sell a car on eBay?

Even if you get a hot IM project going unless you sell your own product through payPal you will not get a check cut that fast.

Even the payPal thing might not deliver cash if you got the account balance up quickly with new money

If you are trading in Forex, you have to remember, it is a longterm thing. You will have your 'ups' and 'downs'. Do you still have a lot of capital invested? (I'm assuming you put in something like 50k). Personally, right now I'd say you are really uncomfortable doing trading and can't afford it, so take your remaining money out while you still have it. (Incidentally, if you were using a bot, essentially thats trying to cheat the system, and it seems you are like in the get rich quick mentality. You need to change that.)

Anyways, you should get out right now, otherwise you are kind of getting into a 'gamblers' mindset and you are on 'tilt', where you are chasing bad money with good money. When you can afford to (essentially gamble) in the currency trading without worrying about whether or not you win/lose money, then I'd say you can go back into it.

PS, then you would also have the 5k you need to pay your bills. You need to bite the bullet and get out of the trading. I know it will be hard, seeing as you are looking at it as a '10k' hit, but you can always go into it later. (And if you are going to cheat with a bot, make sure you pay attention to it -- ppl wouldn't sell bots if they were perfect, they would use it for their own purposes).

How very unfortunate for you, but I think as has been suggested that you need to ditch whatever's bleeding you dry to the tune of needing $5000 per month.

I also think that rather than lurking for so long it might have been wiser to get posting on the WF and have made some contacts/friends. You would then have someone to go to to help formulate some kind of plan or support to get you working a viable plan out of your situation.

Sure, this is what you do; get a flight down to Bogota. When you get there, a man called Jose will meet you. He'll take you to a low grade hotel and give you a few dollars to enjoy yourself, then in about 5 days, he'll come to the hotel with some packages that you've got to swallow, and then take you back to the airport.

Once your flight lands back at home, another guy(s) will take you from the airport to another hotel and give you a handful of laxatives and a bucket. After that you get your $5k.

break it down - 5000/10 = $500 find 10 businesses without a website sell em all one at $800 ea - outsource it for $300 ea
or maybe 15 outsourced at $450 - done - very doable

Woah you guys are brutal. Yeah, I agree, I couldn't imagine having 5k worth of bills a month. But there are plenty of other threads I've read in this forum explaining similar situations, seeking advice on how to make a large amount of money quickly, and all of those threads were answered honestly and respectfully. Hi, I agree with Elaina, not very helpful tips, just a lot of judging. Perhaps he does have a lot of bills...who knows what's going on with his personal life. Perhaps a few tips on where he could start is all he's looking for. That's what I was looking for when I came here, always on the look out for good advice. Perhaps we can work on that.

Good luck raising your 5k. I work a full time job and do freelancing internet marketing on the side, one day I hope to be able to just do internet marketing...until I am there I am going to utilize all advice. Thanks in advice.

why don't you go find a good clickbank item and make a squeeze page for it and do whatever it takes to get traffic. youtube videos, ppc, offering related newsletters a one time fee to mail out or whatever else you can think of.

Yep, that would make a good product in itself- if you had a credible step by step plan to turn a $10K investment into a $10K/month income stream. Not everyone here is starting with zero capital to invest.

So you just risked your whole savings with a forex robot and now you don't have any money to pay the bills.

I am sorry, but I have no sympathy for people that do this. Instead of asking for people to make you $5,000 quickly, maybe you should have thought about testing the forex market before investing 10 grand into it.

My advice to you. Get in a car, and start driving for the Mexican border. With any luck you can escape the United States unnoticed and won't have to pay your bills!

P.S. To answer your question seriously, my advice is to write articles and other copy for people. You won't make $5,000, but you will be at least start making some money for your time.

Membership sites, info products, coaching, web development, site flipping etc. The key is to diversify.

Joe, ignore the nasty responses! People here are brutal sometimes..they forget that as humans we ALL make mistakes!

I once looked at Forex and believe me, I quickly realized that it would be suicide for me to even attempt something that I know nothing about.

It sounds like that's what happened to you. It also sounds like you have acknowledged your mistake and you're ready to take the necessary steps to correct it. Good for you!

Why don't you write a report about your experiences using the Forex bot? Do you know how many people you will help by possibly preventing them from making the same mistake you made? Turn something bad into something good!

Sell it for under 10 bucks. Use e-junkie.com to sell the report because it is a quick and painless way to secure your download and e-junkie uses PayPal, so you would get your money faster that way.

you know, Melody, it's very possible you are right in this case, and I'm the one who's the fool being sucked in by someone with ulterior motives. It has happened before, I admit! But the point of this thread is just to get me on the right track in starting out in IM. I know I made mistakes but I am now trying to get out of this hole.<br>
5k, maybe un realistic, but I am doing what i didn't do when I was trading on the forex, which is planning for the long term. Right now I think that my solution for my first revenue stream should be article writing and affiliate marketing. Although what is the best way to start affiliate marketing on the cheap ??

Not a fool Karen - just a kind person with a big heart! I agree with you regarding the too-frequent nastiness towards newbies (and others too lately). I rarely post in anything even remotely controversial anymore - but somehow the ewhoring comment on top of John's discovery did not sit well with me today!

Yes - affiliate marketing is free - and if you look for posts here on affiliate marketing and/or bum marketing - you will find LOTS of great ideas.

Once again can anyone reccomend a plan of action for a semi new IM, who is trying to learn the ropes of Affiliate marketing and IM to get himself out of the whole that he is in lol.

According to one resource on the internet (for those that don't know):

The Concept:
Sign up for dating/webcam affiliates that pay $1 per free sign-up.
Go online and get desperate guys to sign up.

Average Reported Income:
Upto $60/hour.

The Method:
The eWhore method starts with you signing up for dating or webcam affiliates. These affiliates provide $1 payouts for free sign-ups. One such resource for this type of affiliate is at PussyCash.com, where as of this writing, they have $1 payouts for free signups to the imlive.com website.

After you have signed up for an account and have your affiliate URL, goto a chat site and sign up for an account. You can do a search on Google for the top chat sites on the internet. When signing up, pick a name that sounds like a female name. A good example would be something like "mistylove". You want a name that sounds "sweet", not something that sounds skanky, like "sexybusty", because most guys are aware that this is a fake and they will ignore you.

Next you need to get a domain and hosting. Try to use a domain name that is very generic. Create a subdomain and add a PHP Redirection for your affiliate URL. So when guys enter the subdomain, they will be redirected to your Affiliate URL landing page. Make it so the URL isn't such an obvious indication that it is an affiliate link. For example, a good URL would be: http://www.yoursite.com/imlive/cindy.

Now go to an image site like flickr.com or similar and find a photo of a girl to use. Don't get a photo of some girl showing off her body. Find one that looks like an attractive or pretty girl who is just posing for the camera. Take this photo and upload it to imageshack.com. Get the photo URL and have it handy to show guys what you look like if they ask.

Finally, go online into the chatroom and post that you are looking for anyone to chat with. You will start getting tons of private messages asking you for your ASL (Age/Sex/Location). Just chat with one guy at a time until you get the hang of it, then you can chat with multiple users at once to maximize the amount you make per hour.

In the conversation, tell them that you would like to chat via webcam or to use the chat interface on your dating website account (webcam/dating sites are your affiliates from PussyCash). Then provide them your PHP Redirect URL. Tell them to sign up and after they notify you that they signed up, then place the user on your ignore list and move on to another guy.

Their sign up will have generate $1 for you. Do this over and over and you can make hundreds of $1 sign-ups.

Summary Overview:
1. Sign up webcam/dating site affiliate that pays $1 for free sign-ups.
2. Get your affiliate URL to the webcam/dating site.
3. Register an account at a chat website with female name.
4. Create and upload a PHP Redirect url for your affiliate url.
5. Get a photo of pretty girl to show.
6. Go to chatroom, post that you are looking to talk to a guy.
7. Multiple private messages will appear asking ASL (age/sex/location).
8. Get them to go sign up for your webcam/dating site to chat further.
9. After sign-up, place user on ignore list and repeat steps 6 thru 8.
10. Make $1 per sign-up every minute and get up to $60/hour.

Final Word:
This method has been around for a long time and a lot of online marketers are using it. If you have ever been in a chatroom, you have probably seen them. They are the ones posing as females saying "Anyone want to see me naked?" or similar such phrases. That approach is a little too obvious and can have a negative response instead of a positive one, so it is recommended that you take the more subtle approach of coming across as a nice and sweet, rather than seductive.

Keep in mind that this is a blackhat method. This approach is not completely ethical, because these are poor desperate fellows that are eager to see naked women posing for them and you are denying them this.

Well just an idea but you dealt with forex, right ... And I am not trying to push the knife in deeper but you lost big-time.. So, you realize you could actually create a information product out of that..

Assuming there is a market of people that do not want to lose big-time in forex.

Personally I am not one for affiliate products, I like to create my own and make the profit myself...

Well starting from square one with no list built or any marketing out there will make it quite hard to make 5k in 4 weeks. It is possible for I have done it before. But I also have a big list and established marketing on the internet. So I think you need to start with the basics.

1. build a capture page giving away something Free that has to do with your niche you are in.

2. Get an autoresponder (aweber) and learn to generate 10-25 leads per day.

3. build relationships with the list by providing value. Then sell them products that will help them in what ever they are interested in.

That method may not make you 5k in the next 4 weeks but with consistency it will eventually make you 5k or more per month 6 months to a year from now.

After looking around the forum, I have decided to become an affiliate and I wanted to ask for advice.



My plan is to pick one product to get a system going and then repeat for various niches. So far the system I have planned is :

a) Creating content by writing various articles myself then submitting them to various sites

b) Creating a landing page to warm up leads by using blogspot, not sure if I can start building a list this way ??

c) Get relevant domain and cloaking my links ( Need some advice on this )

d) Writing blog entries as well, and establishing other sources of traffic to my blogspot. ( The blogspot page is where I will have my aff link )

Is this correct ??
