    Hey Kelly.

How about posting some of the actual gigs so we can give you detailed advice instead of just generic BS?

        How?

Not for a potential employer, who could find they hire someone who isn't capable of doing the job. A waste of both the employer and employee's time as the employer will refuse to pay.

Not valuable to the employee who, in the unlikely even that they get offered a job, will find they don't have the skills to complete it.

    Be patience...

My fiverr gig that I place did not get any order for 2months, until now, there are 2 orders in the same week!

What a surprise, and I thought my gigs are dead.

My first response was...HUHHHH??? ODESK WHAT NOW?!?!

Try a more specific headline like "Let me help you pass any proficiency test on ODesk with my awesome answers!!!"

      That is more results oriented.

I took the I odesk test and passed and it only took me about 10 minutes, not going to pay $5 for that. You need to get some better jobs posted. I have about a dozen posted and I am probably averaging 1 or 2 orders each day.

Spend some time on the site and look at the popular jobs and find something that you can do that is similar with your own unique twist.

How would offering the answers to an Odesk test, be within Fiverrs TOS?
Aren't you using one service to assist in cheating another service? Maybe I'm
missing something, but that's how it appears to me.

    HI Kelly,

Your first gig is the hardest to make a sale. It has no feedback and people are very put off and no one really wants to pull the trigger first. Ask a friend or someone you know online to order the gig and then review it. Once people see an order and a positive review you will make sales easier.

On top of that your gig might not be getting many visitors to it. So look for other gigs that are related to yours and are really popular. Look to see what tags they are using and use some of those yourself.

Bruce hit it on the head. It smells too much of cheating to me, which may very well leave people wondering if you are going to cheat them in return.

The gig itself has such a narrow appeal that I don't think it will really go anywhere, even if you do stumble on an order or two along the way.

Get more gigs up and see what happens. It's kind of a numbers game sometimes to get things rolling. Somebody finds one they like and tries it, leaves feedback and maybe buys others of yours... you start gaining momentum.

Fiverr doesn't prohibit this kind of gig.

I agree with you it's wrong, it's certainly unethical and I wish to heaven it wasn't allowed on Fiverr, but it is.

You can buy these kinds of gigs all day long on Fiverr: Yahoo Answers, Facebook Likes, Twitter followers, etc. You can buy a Yahoo Groups scraper ("great for CPA and affiliate marketing!"), posting software for putting spun articles on Yahoo Groups, selling Google +1s, gaming Google Places with fake reviews, the list just goes on and on and on.

I was one of Fiverr's biggest boosters in the beginning but their unwillingness to rein in the miscreant activity in their quest for the almighty dollar has left me deeply disappointed and I must say, disenchanted. Fiverr doesn't play well with others. By facilitating Google and Yahoo fraud, a case could be made for deindexing Fiverr from 85% of search engine activity.

To get the ball rolling you might try buying some cheap ads on adfly and point it toward your gig. This works awol for some new Fiverr hopefuls, but I haven't personally tried it so YMMV.

Hi Kelly, You said you just started last week? Just be patient, it's still too early to complain. Once you get your first order - then it will just follow

First, I don't expect one of these Gigs will get you to top rated sellers.

Most buyers want something help them outsource, what you are offering is for people looking to make money on odesk (who probably sellers on fiverr). This is beside the ready test answers of odesk is available online almost everywhere for free.

Odesk is for more professional people, mayn't work even for most of fiverr sellers.

My advice create a gig that buyer will be interested in for their outsourcing purposes : SEO stuff, twitter, facebook ,.. marketing and the list goes on.

I agree that you might want to create some more in-demand gigs, plus put some time in to promote them- put up a blog which describes your fiverr services, write some articles that link back to your blog and submit them to article directories, link your blog to your signature here in WF.
Do a little bit of research on fiverr itself, see what gigs appeal to you, and create your own gigs, modeling these, but with your own twist. Especially look at top-rated gigs.

I think you need to put more gigs on fiverr. Do some research and see what people are interested in buying.
