Hi Guys,

Ive just set up my first blog and would really, really, appreciate some unbiased opinion.

I appreciate people are busy but if anyone has a few minutes if you could have a look and let me know what you think i'd be very grateful.

It's not quite finished yet but the bulk of it is sorted.

    I think you should move your opt-in box higher on the page. Re-word the "featured video" into a headline that lets people know what the video is about. Add Google Adsense and some affiliate products. How do you plan on monetizing your blog?

      Hi all,

      Thanks for the replies!

      Yes I think a bit of colour for the background would look good too, ill have a play with that.

      At the moment I don't want any adsense or anything on there to detract. My main focus is building a list for a product i'm creating at the moment. It's big so will take 6 months or so, so hopefully will have a decent list by then to sell it to.

      You're right, opt-in box needs to be higher and I will change video feed title.

    I really like it! And I actually like it with no color in the background. It's "fresh", simple, and therefore easy on the eyes. I agree with moving the opt-in to the top and putting a name to the video.
