Hi Warriors...If you could only pick one affiliate program, would it be Adsense or Clickbank on your niche website? :p

At first Thoughts,CB of course,But Adsense is more challenging And More passive and more autopilot Than cb,So I would choose To make some money with cb but definetly adsense to master.

Under no circumstances would I try to promote ClickBank products on a "click on the ad and go to the hoplink/sales-page" basis.

Would it surprise you to know that ClickBank is actually a (very slightly) longer-established company than Google?

dina i would def say Adsense because Google is an established company and I think it would be a safer choice.

I know that sucks as an answer lol but it totally depends.

If you have great buying traffic from good keywords targeting real problems (not just 'teaching your goldfish how to talk' type niches ), Clickbank or other digital or physical products might convert much better for you and make you more money than ads.

If you're in a niche where nobody advertises on the Google content network and there are no relevant ads for people to click on or the payout per click are really really low, Clickbank might be a better option to try.

If you're in either a weak niche though or more of a typical adsense niche (like... I don't know, tractor pieces, beads, stuff like that ) that gets great traffic but you won't really find a good affiliate program for, definitely go with adsense. Especially since in those cases often the EPC (earnings per click) are pretty awsome

Soooo... pretty much the deal is... adsense is always gonna make you SOME money, even if it's just a few cents, depending on your traffic while clickbank might either make you pretty good money or none at all.

So it's just a matter of trying it out and seeing your situation

If you want, feel free to hit me up and I can look at your site to help you out?

Hope this helps a little bit at least and wasn't just confusing lol

Unless your keyword is a big payer for Adsense I would look elsewhere (not necessarily CB but certainly something else.

There are at least 10 reasons I can think of the the main one is that because you can't alter the ad, once the visitor clicks the ad, you've lost them. That's fine if you get a large amount from Google, otherwise ask if it's worth losing your traffic to your direct competitors (yes contextual advertising advertises your direct competition)

clickbank. You have a better chance at developing a long term business with that type of system. I am not saying that it is impossible with Adsense, but it probably will not get you the dot com lifestyle you are looking for lol. Cultivate your audience and promote reputable Clickbank products. #My2cents

(iii) You have to build lists yourself and form and nurture relationships with the people on them, so that they'll eventually buy on the strength of your recommendation. Without doing this, your conversion-rate will typically be somewhere between "very low indeed" and "non-existent":
Do you think a big part of this depends on keywords? If you are using buying keywords to bring people to your page (buy, review), does this (in your experience) make a big difference to the conversion rates?

Do you have any more links to the best way to pre-sell Clickbank products to your list? I am thinking of implementing Glenn Allsop's strategy of 5 content emails (CE), one selling email (SE) and then a follow up email (FE), followed by 8CE, 1SE, 1FE, and then - 11CE, 1SE and 1FE (obviously with a few tweaks).
