blogging monetization

Hey guys, just wondering what are the best ways of making money off a blog, here is what I already have:

1. adsense,
2. affiliate links,

what else could I use?

    Often, Chitika is also a good monetizing tools for blogging, especially, they really work well on tech blogs.

      There's lots of ways to use affiliate links - there's the traditional banner ad, there's amazon ads, etc., but I'll often do a product review and include a link to the product (through an affiliate link of course). You can also put ads in your RSS feed

          I'm making the most money by far selling text link ads on my blog.
          So far I haven't approached anyone, but people approach me. Best month was Sept where I made about an extra $1K.

          Part of the secret may be to have ads, whether for free or not, to make it look like you accept ads, and have contact info prominently displayed.

          Some of the links in the sidebars (and some in posts) of Blogging for Business are for (consulting) clients and friends and free, some are for aff products, and some are paid.

          Also don't discount taking some of your blog posts, updating and reformating the material, and selling it as an info product. I'll sometimes gladly pay a few bucks for an ebook or CD set rather than slogging though a bunch of blog posts that have similar information. Blogs are not great for consuming mass quantities of info.

          Also strongly consider having an opt in box to collect email addresses -- yeah yeah, that list thing.
