Hi Warriors,

I'm requesting some PDF assistance...

I have a PDF that was created using Pages (MAC) and it's at 4mb.
Does anyone know of any way to compress the file to under 2mb,
(preferably 1mb or less) AND still keep my embedded images
sharp?

If you know of any downloadable software or an online solution,
please share.

Any assistance will greatly be appreciated.

Thanks,

Robert

You will have to edit the photos size before putting them on the document.

You can do this with the default "preview" program on the mac.

Open the file (photo) by double clicking, click on tools, adjust size, and then save it.

You might have uncompressed pictures in it, try to compress it first. If you are using Photoshop, try using File -> Save for Web & Devices and use correct formats, for example JPG for photos and graphics for GIF.

This might degrade the image to some degree, but it would only noticable for printing. On screen, it doesn't make much difference to human eye.
