Clickbank Newbie Concern

Hi Guys

Just wonder if anyone can give me a few bits of help on clickbank?

I've just started out trialling a bit of ppc advertising clickbank products. I'm a little concerned about order form impressions not bringing any sales in.

I ran a small campaign netting 13 impressions on the order form for one product and got no sales. I put this down to no price point in the grab page even though my advert price conditioned.
I've now started a slightly different campaign, on a product with seemingly good reviews on here, getting 1 in 8 hops to order form impressions. The numbers are too low on the new one for me to panic yet.....

But again no sale. Yet this grab page is price pointed

My questions are:-
If an order form is submitted does it show on the next analytics report or do they take longer to show?

Is there any chance I'm being duped? I checked out the hoplink on both and leads me to clickback purchase page with my username at bottom.

What sort of conversions per order form impression should I expect? Is really less than 10%? I understand my hops to order forms will be low and over all conversion tiny!

Am I concerned over nothing?

This is normal. I see a lot of order form impressions without sales. There are few reasons for that.

    1. Some people dont see the price on the sales page due to rapid scrolling. They just click on buy now to see the price.

    2. Sales page does not have a price.

    3. Sales page has a exit grabber that automatically sends the visitor to the order form

    4. Call to action on the sales page says something other than buy now e.g. "Download Now", Start Here and so on.

Reminds me when I made my first site with CB products advertised on it.

I submitted the site to the search engines, did some backlinking & tweaking and a couple of days later went to log into Clickbank to see if anything was happening.

The first thing I saw was that 'money counter' going round on the front page and I thought "Ah, good, looks like my site got indexed" lol

Seriously, you will get a lot of hops but remember by using PPC you are actually paying for them. I echo the poster above who suggests looking for other traffic forms to start off with until you know what is converting and all the metrics. Otherwise you could be losing money.

Also, bear in mind the fact that you wiill have to get multiple sales through different payment methods befor CB will release anything. So you may rack up some sales but if you are relying on that money for your ad budget, you could find yourself in a tricky situation.

Because newbies should stay away from PPC.
Newbie shoud stay away from PPC but they can outsource. It works very well that way.

A newbie should become efficient at free traffic before ever venturing out on PPC...

Nothing can be gauged from 13 impressions. You really need impressions in the thousands to begin to be able to gauge accurate stat tracking.
