Default Websites with No Scarcity Tactics

Most internet marketing teachers (trying hard to use the word "guru") talk about the importance of scarcity.

Do you know of any of the well known "internet marketing" websites that sells to the "make money" market that does not use scarcity in some form.

The only one that comes to mind is sitesell.com

I suppose they only scarcity when they run some sort of a holiday special.

The Rich Jerk does not use scarcity in his offers.

I wonder how effective this kind of thing is. I am always amazed at people who fall for the timer countdowns or the I am only selling this to a limited number of people stories.

Probably just me

In the IM niche it's rare to find but in general affiliate programs (seen on cj.com etc) rarely do you find people saying their going to run out of product soon so order now.

Read the toward the bottom of the page - he uses it alright. I am talking for his $10 program. He shows what it has sold for in the past...and then states how he is going to raise the price very shortly.

Actually, If I really think about, and the people who use it, whether it is a OTO or a countdown or 27 copies left, or get the bonuses only by feb.11th...it is a very important part of getting people to make a decision.

I know for myself, in my own experiences when I actually felt more pressure to buy something...especially if you are purchasing from someone for the first time...you really do not know if they will sell out, or whatever the scarcity tactic is.

I remember when I bought Corey Rudl's course so many years ago...Ugh...I had to decide now, I had to come up with the money because the price was only guaranteed for like 1 day.

I didn't mind when I realized later that it is a tactic...I learned FROM it.

Another one I thought of - Bill Harris's Centerpointe doesn't use a scarcity tactic that I know of. And he doesn't use a low ticket lead in offer either. His lead in is around $179.

One of his main secrets is...

The product is really really good and delivers on its promises. Hmm, weird huh?
