Yea it all depends on what you are wanting to learn? You need to work that out first, rather than something too general like "internet marketing". Narrow it down a bit. SEO, PPC, Article marketing etc.

If you're looking to do affiliate marketing (promoting other people's products), you might wanna check out Unstoppable Affiliate by Andrew Hansen and Josh Stanton. The main course is all you need to make it work, but there is optional coaching on the back-end that you can pick up as well.

    Good luck,
    Joey

    I won't recommend one.

But when you do manage to find one, be sure to ask for earning proof, testimonials and references.

There are far to many "coaches" that don't know what they are doing.

Most coaches are out there to make money themselves and don't really care about you. What you need to do is read a few books and make your own road map.

I don't think that's fair at all and should be taken to whichever pertinent authority deals with such cases in your or their home country. That sounds like plain stealing to me.

If I may add to this question? Could someone recommend a mentor that could teach me KEYWORD RESEARCH only?
I say keyword research only, because everything else I can really learn on my own, and I don't want to waste anyone's time... Keyword research however, is different. For whatever reason, I am just not fully getting it... Would anybody be willing to teach me?

Liz Tomey has lots of free videos that are great. She also has many video classes that are priced very reasonably. I know she teaches a lot on keyword research - so you may want to check her stuff out.

If you are learning the basics of internet marketing then i highly recommend chris farrell.I am one of his students and I have a clearer path of internet marketing after going through his lessons.

Alex jeffreys conducts his coaching purely on videos and I think he is really good in explaining. You can search for him in this forum. He over delivered his information with just a low price.

Be very careful when choosing a coaching program or a mentor. A lot are just out there to take your money and run. Make sure they teach you a business model that works instead of push button riches or promising you that you will make 10k/per month.

Personally, I would recommend Patric Chan or Daniel Tan as a mentor.

I don't have to explain why because they have proved themselves to be expert in their own field.

All the best to you =)

You can learn this on your own as most people here have. It takes time but I feel you learn better this way. You will definitely learn from mistakes that you will make. I have always found it hard to trust these coaching programs, but I am sure there really are some good ones out there.

There is the following dilemma with the IM coaching.

If it is easier for the coach to make money by coaching but not doing business directly, there is a problem with the coach. And if an Internet marketer is successful of doing his direct job he/she will not have the time or appetite for teaching.

As people have said you can learn quite a lot of what you need to know by yourself but it can take some time if you're still in full time employment. It's also important to narrow down what it is you need to know and not try to learn everything.

There is also a big difference between following some training or a course which is not really what coaching is about. The benefit of true coaching is to bring experience to the table and help establish direction and focus.

Just think about it like you would in the "offline business world."

It's not always that hard finding and learning about a topic but there's more to it when it comes to putting theory into practice and achieving results.

If you want a real one-on-one coach who is going to commit his precious time to you, then it's going to be relatively expensive, unless that person is extremely selfless.
