Internet Marketer Spouses

This post is for couples who are both Internet Marketers. How do you work? In the same office? On same projects or different projects or a mixture of both? What are the advantages/disadvantages of working together? Do you have any suggestions on how to maximize the team or pitfalls to avoid?

    Tricky question. I've worked with my husband on projects before. Just make sure to treat 'work as work' and if you're not able to separate or draw distinct work time/space/projects and make sure each knows what the other's role is...you might want to pass on it. Personally I prefer separate work spaces as it's easy to get caught in non-productive chatter if in the same office.

    My hubby and I share our home office - 4 computers, two printers, 18 x 18 room - separate phone lines. We have our own businesses, and we have shared businesses. I guess the fact that we were both used to working on our own (outside sales) before our marriage made it easier, but we work when we are supposed to be working, and that's that. If we take a call, we usually head into another room so as not to disturb the other, but after doing this for 8 years - I can't imagine working without him here!
