What are your typical sales funnels like? How many up-sells, how many down-sells. How many OTO's? What do you think converts best?

Just curious, taking a little break from working cause my brain hurts and just wondered what you lot had to offer on the subject.

    Typical?

None of the above. I like one offer, one click, smooth and easy. If I want to sell you something else, I can do it on my list.

Occasionally one upsell, pre-payment. I don't like the post-payment upsell because it seems rude. Pre-payment, I'm in the way of you giving me money, and if you get mad you can just leave. Post-payment, I'm in the way of you getting your download, which seems like it might actually be against PayPal's acceptable use policy.

Never a downsell. I don't like them. They feel scummy. It's like saying "yeah, that price was too high, but I thought you were stupid... how about this much more reasonable one?"

OTOs, sort of. I'll tell people about bundle deals in the upsell. Like if I have two $47 products which I bundle together for $67, I'll offer them the bundle before they pay for one of the products alone. If they pass on it, they'll have to pay the full $47 price for the other product later. Sometimes I'll put another special offer in the AR for the product, but not quite as good - maybe $27 or so.

I've also been known to put ad banners for affiliate products on download pages. Like if you buy my product about sales funnels , I have two banners on the download page - one for a set of sales page templates, the other for a collection of sales page graphics.

But mostly, I like buy now -> pay -> download. Nothing fancy. Nothing sneaky. Just one thing.
