You can always get a theme and use wp amazon widgets to customize it. Heatmap theme is prety good for that

The theme that fits the niche the best. Not the other way around.

I just use Weaver. (Not weaver ii, i think it was a step backwards).

I just get a $5 header on fiverr, tweak the color scheme to match it, tweak the layouts, post options, etc.

The reason this works is that weaver is a "configurable" theme. You can configure a WHOLE lot of thigns that other templates lock down.

It really depends on your niche as others have stated. However, there are many great themes free and paid. Search this forum as there are some really great choices. Adapt your niche to your theme.

    Hi Chris

it's a great question but in all honesty not where your initial focus should be. Ultimately you want to focus on creating great content that's enticing to your readers, provides them the information that they are after, provides the pros and cons of products and entices them to click on your affiliate link all the way to amazon.

Get that right and you're halfway there.

    Good luck

There is no "best" theme. I do very well with my own Amazon sites and the themes all vary. It is the content and navigability of the site that really counts.

It depends on what you are doing.. If you're building a store, i dunno why you wouldn't just use Fresh Store Builder to do the whole site?

There is no set theme to use for Amazon it just depends on what sort of site you are intending to build pretty much any theme can be used for Amazon sites.

As Colleen mentioned the key is content as this is what is the most important aspect of building a good Amazon site, if you have good engaging content I think any theme would work just fine.

I have my own premium theme but I also mix it up and use many different themes on my sites just so not all the sites look like the same cookie cutter sites.

Focus on Quality content first and worry about the theme later

    Kickin it on Amazon
