HELP?! 23 years old @ $45,000, aiming for $50k by 25

Hi I'm Adribabe,

I'm 23 years old. Less than a year after graduating from university with a marketing degree I'm making about $45,000/yr.

The Mission:
I want your help to reach $50,000 by 25.

Income Sources:

#1: By using my website's Analytics and other sources of metrics, I demonstrated my ability to reach the demographic my employer is looking to target, and build a reputation and a following among that niche. This landed me a great job while I was finishing Uni.

#2: Bartending one night a week.

#3: AdSense ads on my website, avg. $1.25 daily and growing!

#4: I offer web design and creation to small businesses in my industry at $150/site, for a few hours of work. Because I'm also a webhosting reseller, I will continue to collect $25/year from every client. Rather than advertise this publicly, I handpick who I offer this service to, and get only "the perfect customers".

The Time Line

I turn 25 in 1 year, 4 months.
During that time I'll have an $1,800 raise from the job. AdSense revenue should increase, if only by a few hundred annually. I only do 1 website every 2 months as I need some free time.

The Question:
It looks like I will be short $2,500. Where / how should I be focus my energy to reach my goal of making $50k by the time I turn 25? What strategies would you recommend? What steps would you take?

I enjoy the variety of income sources available (bartend for $200 or stay in and still make $150), but I think I could benefit from some Warrior feedback. Please feel free to browse my site and offer your advice. Need your help!

Nice. You are doing much better off than me. Good job!

I'd recommend that you sell things on eBay or Craigslist, or find a way to massively increase the traffic to your sites.

Don't burn yourself out on this stuff. Make a list of your top traffic strategies, and do these every week like clockwork. The more content ("money pages") you put out there, the more likely someone is to find it and take the action you want them to take.

Burn out is definitely a concern, that's part of why I'm wondering where I should focus.

Well to make that kind of money you would need a solid plan, rather than working really hard, think about what is working for you really well, what you do best, and outsource the rest. Try scaling your own method if possible by outsourcing and try expanding your income with other sources of profit.

I HIGHLY recommend you check out BannersBroker. No BS, it's seriously the most lucrative income opportunity I've seen to date. At this time it is referral only, so if you click the image in my signature it will take you to a Google Doc showing you how super simple it is to get started. (No worries, it's completely FREE to sign up, so you can learn more about it)

Also, I noticed on your profile you're in Canada - I believe the owners or founders are in Canada and they have regular meetups each week which are posted on their site, so you're in a great place.

Let me know if you have any questions, and best of luck in the next year!

You might want to start by offering a WSO based on some of the things you learn working for your employer.

This could be a huge help for anyone that wants to know how larger companies and firms operate.

Being a Uni grad, I'm assuming you have set aside a portion of your own business income to re invest in your business. If so think about outsourcing your site building to increase your client base.

Continue to be selective about your clients and let the outsourcer do the work of the building of the clients site for you. Chances are you have your template already set up and the knowledge you need to train an outsourcer fairly quickly.
Once you have finished the training your actual work time should be minimal prior to releasing the site to your client.

By increasing your client built sites from 1 every 2 months to say 5 every 2 months, you will increase your gross by $3375.00 within the next 9 months. The additional income should take care of the outsourcer and leave you with roughly $2300 + (depending on cost of outsourcer) net before taxes.

This is the technique I have been using for close to 5 years now and I'm 69 years old and still don't get burned out.

You talk about 'needing free time', this shows me you are not willing to commit completely.

Anyway, forget adsense. If you don't know exactly what your doing it's a waste of time. I suppose you sorta know what you are doing, but are you willing to make a few more sites?

I think you need to focus on list building and email marketing. Along with that you want to learn how to put together a high converting sales funnel just to have full leverage.

I'm not to clear about how you are actually earning your money? Are you an internet marketer or do you have another job? Sorry, don't think the post is worded right, or maybe I'm just an idiot -Probably the latter.

You are doing better than many 23 yr. old people, keep it up. You've got several income sources working which is smart.

#4 is the most solid and scalable way to build your income I see here. I would systemize your site building methods as much as possible, and grow your marketing both online and offline.

    Lots of great replies.

I would focus on multiple streams of income all of which are residual so they can be automated and don't require your daily attention.

Automate / Replicate and just keep doing that for different niches to also spread out what industries pay you.

    all the best!
