First of all, try to keep your focus off all of the challenges you are facing. Instead, get a clear picture of where you want to be and focus on that mental picture as much as possible. Using this method while you work will put power into your work and great things will start to happen.

That is great you have 5 sites up. But the reason you aren't seeing any results could be because you are targeting the wrong keywords. Keyword research is the most important part of SEO. Your keywords need to be relevant to the topic, have a decent monthly search volume, but have low competition so they are easier to rank for. There is a lot to learn when doing SEO, so it could take some time.

It sounds like you have a lot of great skills to offer as services. Offering those services on Elance or Odesk could keep enough money flowing while you are building you IM business. Also keep an eye on the Warriors For Hire section.

Great advice here....if you have skills you can offer as a service start making money off of that. It seems like you don't have a passive income source set up so to build some capital start offering services. In addition to the sites mentioned here (Elance or oDesk) check out the Warriors For Hire section here and also Fiverr.

        Keep at it!

You sound like you're a jack of all trades but master of none. Ever considered specializing in a particular type of service, create a real website and start taking on customers + building your business instead of freelancing 'informally'?

I'd start by thinking about what NOT to do rather than what to do. You're in a difficult situation and under a lot of stress, so it's easy to make bad decisions when you're in that frame of mind. Bad decisions can cost you money, but more importantly time, since you're running against the clock.
For example, you talked about learning new skills without having an application for them. I understand why you would do that when you're in a position of strength, but not when you're up against the clock as you are.
Also, you mention UAW, and what sounds like some low-quality back-links, along with having 5 websites built in the last two months. You need to focus on one website not 5, and you need to focus on gaining quality links, not the stuff you get from article spinning.
Personally I would sit down and look in detail at the 5 websites and pick one which offers you the most potential for a quick return and hopefully one whose subject you know something about. Do some solid keyword analysis, look for how many exact match searches there are per month, then evaluate the strength of the competition for those searches. Here's a series of videos which you should take the time to watch. They'll teach you about keyword selection and analysis. They relate to using a specific product. You do not need to purchase the product at this stage since you only have a small amount of evaluation to do Noble Samurai - Dojo I would even advise against downloading a trial copy since it will be too distracting. Just watch the videos and understand the processes involved for selecting and analyzing a good niche. You can get all of the information from a Google adwords account.
Once you've picked the site with the best potential for a quick return, focus on content for the site. Write 10 articles, but more importantly, continue to write at least one article each day every day. Each day build between 5 and 10 back-links manually. Use this tool to find some quick-win link opportunities - Drop My Link - Find sites to create backlinks on
Now write a good article on the subject of your website. If you're ok with the finished quality fine, if not, come back here and post it as a project for someone to re-write. It shouldn't cost more than $10. Now take the finished article and do some guest posting. Google the terms 'guest posting' 'guest article submissions' and look for opportunities.
Approach website owners who are not competitors but whose websites are in a similar niche to that covered by the article you've written. Ask them politely if they would be willing to publish the article on their website and offer them more articles if they require them in the future. Invest a full day on that initially and you ought to get a few bites. I have a book on article writing and syndication which shows you how to do things properly, PM me and I'll send you a free copy.
Within 5 days or so you should be starting to see some activity. You need to ensure that you make every visitor count and for that you'll really need to have some type of optimized landing page or squeeze page and a method of collecting people's email addresses and following up. There's some information on that in my article marketing book.
Now to be honest I would spend a week on this initially then pause for a day or two. (you can write posts for your blog and schedule them to go out over the periods you are not actively working on the site).
Of everything you list on your 'portfolio' the one thing which stands out is 'building WP sites'. There has to be a local market for that and I would work hard on finding some local clients with whom you can actually shake hands. Put together an offer for 3 different levels of sites with 3 pricing points and take it around and show people. You can do this by coming up with a list of all the businesses within a 25 mile radius then researching which of those businesses do not already have websites. You'd be surprised at how many do not, or at the poor quality of some of those that do.
As you've worked on marketing your own website for a few days there's no reason you can't include a basic 'Marketing Upsell' - offer people a new Wordpress website with a $150 marketing campaign to get them traffic. Since these are local businesses you should be able to get them ranked quickly and well.
I'd set myself a two week window for all the above. If you have to work 18 hr days so be it. But you're up against the clock so you need some feedback on your efforts quickly. Take stock of where you're at. Don't read too much into what's happening with your own website in this period and don't lose heart if you're not seeing results in Google. The first few weeks are always up and down with Google and new websites, but hopefully your local web design work should help you ride the storm and hopefully your efforts at article syndication/marketing will be adding some names to your email list.

Anyway, you'll get 50 different opinions on what to do but that would be my approach. If you think this is an option worth pursuing I'd be happy to answer any questions and provide whatever help I can to you. PM me or use tnsweb at sbcglobal dot net.
Good luck, and remember to think hard about what NOT to do, before you jump on anything.

      Srdjan:

"When you're in a rut, stop digging."

I give this advice with all sincerity.

The very first thing you should do is figure out how to stop adding more and more debt to your life.

      1. Stop all outgoing payments for everything that is not life sustaining
      2. Sell whatever assets or "things" you have that your don't absolutely need so you can sustain life without going further into debt
      3. You have to "stop the bleeding" in order to start getting better
      4. Don't buy any more IM books, services, courses, WSOs until you can afford them

Find a day job that will cover your essential expenses. Don't wait to settle for the "perfect" job. Take whatever you can find as soon as possible. You can always look for a better job during your off hours when you're not working.

Depression and lack of motivation is a killer to someone trying to get ahead. Forget about IM for the moment - there will be time to come back to it if that's what you really desire to do in the future.

It's extremely hard to do any creative and positive thinking if you're physically sick. You don't want to do anything except get better.

Ditto if you're deeply in debt. I'm not saying you're physically sick -- what I am saying is that you need to get your head above water through whatever means it takes as your first and top priority right now.

You will be amazed at how much more clearly you will be able to see into the future and get creative ideas about your next career if you are not depressed, wallowing in debt, and "un"motivated.

I wish you the very best.

      Steve

Hey Srdjan. You need better ideas than this first off.

This is NOT enough to get you out of the rat race, unless you plan on working 14 hours a day. And even then you might still get smoked.

I'd focus on positioning yourself as an authority and creating super high quality content instead.

If you need fast cash, ramp up your marketing for services. Creating a website to promote yourself as a professional and offer your services to other businesses. That is usually the fastest way to make some cash if you're in trouble.

SEO takes time, so forget that if you're in a bind. Go for some services in my opinion.

    1. Do you use Fiver to promote your services? Ex. spinning articles and UAW submissions?
    2. Could you show me your website portfolio? I'd like to build custom Wordpress blogs using child themes or find someone who's familiar with WP code.
    3. Hang in there

I would not advice you to get a job barely making it IF you have some marketable skill that you could sell right now for more money and less time.

Use the skills you already have, search this forum and other forums for threads from people who need help with that to see if there is a buying market for it.

For instance, creating wordpress sites. If there is a market it for it and you can give people a new client discount if they contract with you before the end of the month, then place an ad on this or any other forum that allows it that is related to IM and offer it for the discounted price.

I think that since you need cash right now, that offering a service where they pay you in advance is what you need at this moment, then once you get over this hurdle, you can pick one of your sites, the one that has the most profit potential and really concentrate on that one site.

Put an opt in on it and start to build a list.

Here are some other posts you can read that have good advice for similar questions:

    Hi Srdjan,
You are really in great trouble. I am an Amazon affiliate and I can teach you what I do to make money from Amazon.

All you need is web hosting and domain name, since you are desperate in need of help
    - I can help you build WP site or I'll build it for you.
    - I'll tell you what plug-ins I use with my WP site.
    - I'll tell you all my free ways to get backlinks.

You have to write and spin your articles yourself. In case you can not spin I can tell you how I get them spun for just $3. You told that you already have an account with UAW that's great but if you need more links from private blog network just drop me a PM or text message from Skype about you want me to submit your article to private blog network that I use.

Conditions are your article must be at least 500 words long and already spun.

You should also try some affiliate marketing. There are plenty of networks that pay affiliates instant commissions, directly to their paypal.

Here are a few, if you can start driving traffic (the more targeted the better) then you could potentially be making $ by tonight.

JVZoo.com - Instant Commission Platform for Sellers and Affiliates (both instant AND delayed payments - each product is different)

RAP Bank*Instant Commissions Vault (rotating payments - 1st sale goes to vendor, 2nd to affiliate & so on)

DigiResults — Work Less, Sell More (instant payments)

iDavi - THE Digital Product Marketplace (I think rotating payments, but could be mistaken)

Also, you could launch a thread on here (WF) to sell a service & get some clients.

Classifieds section costs $20 to post a thread, and you do NOT have to be a war room member.

WSO section is $40 to post a thread, and you DO have to be a war room member (which you are)

Warriors For Hire costs $5 to post a thread - I dont know if you can sell a service there, or if its only for people that are looking for outsourcers though.

So check the rules for that section of the forums just to be sure if you decide to go that route.

& Di is close to you, so hopefully she can help you out as well

    Good luck man!
