INTERNET MARKETING

Hi there...

I need to do competitive market analysis on different websites, and I'd like to know what is the best service to do this.

I've used compete.com and alexa.com, but they don't provide keywords, etc. and I'd like to know what the 'collective' is using that may be better.

I like Seotool and SeoQuake for Firefox.

Spyfu is nice too, but geared more for PPC research.

  Will give you the more accurate statisics but, it will not give you the keywords that each site uses. And...for what your doing, you need to know the site url that your gathering stats on.

  I have used competition dominator for quite a while now, you have to put in the keywords you are interested in and it will give you a list of the websites that are competing for those keywords.
  
  It will also show you all their PPC ads, and if you run it over time it will show you their placement on the search pages.
  
  It can be a bit clunky at times but useful nonetheless.
