Article Writing Resources(Q)

Hi Everyone!

.. anyone can point any posts or thread here that discussed about different "Article Writing Resources?"

I basically knew some stuffs of researching and finding articles from article directories, web 2.0's and get information, construct my own,add my experience and so on.. but can anyone share some few more lists of links of article writing resources you have could help expand my research of a specific topics and niches?

Some few list I have were ezinearticles.com, squidoo, amazon books?

I do outsource some articles from iwriter & cyberhubonline(specifically used for aff mktg and backlinking)..

Your thoughts and advice can absolutely help. Thank you!

Clint, if I were you, I'd stay away from EZA and the other article directories. Unfortunately, not all of the writers there are as diligent about their research as you are - and the last thing you want is to wind up with incorrect information!

Instead, I'd opt for more "official" sources. Try looking for professional journals, magazines, etc. that have much stricter editorial guidelines than a run-of-the-mill article directory.

    Hi Clint,
Sorry I didn't read your first post more carefully. I understand what you're asking now.

I've had some luck with going to wikipedia...BUT...instead of using information from the article, I go to the bottom of the article where they list their sources. Sometimes these lead you to authority sites that you can trust.

Google Scholar can be helpful sometimes when you want to see what's on the cutting edge in academic research about various subjects.

I use Google for a lot of my research, but not all research needs to be done online. I love using regular books for my research as well if it is a topic I write on a lot! A trip to the library does wonders when I'm learning about a niche.

Depending on your niche, there is a wealth of information to be had on the British Library website (mainly architecture, literature and art).

I have found that searching site: .edu + keyword can bring up more better researched materials. Worth a go.

    Best regards

Also you can use Manufacturer's websites for original information regarding products and markets that may be useful for your niche(s).

Online Encylopedia's for various areas, Dictionaries.

I sometimes get great insights from Youtube videos of a practical nature that can give you some other viewpoints. Have you tried the forums of the niche market you're interested in gems can be found here from people in the know, you can also ask questions if information is hard to find.

Hope these tips give you some more ideas to follow for empirical sources Clint.

Nice blog Yasir very clean and informative.
