Lost again when conducting keyword research. I even give away my niche

First off I want to say that you guys rock....I have learned more from you guys in a week than I did in all those ebooks combined so i want to say thanks to all that chime in with advise.

I finally think i nailed down the whole find a niche thing but my question is this.....lets say for instance my niche is going to be something like this:

"electronic dog training collars"

Here is my question for you guys today...

After some exhausting research I came across those exact keywords that get about 720 hits based on the Google Adword Tool. When it comes to finding keywords for my niches pages/post should every keyword be based on those exact keywords but in different variations?

Example: "best electronic dog training collars", "new electronic dog training collars".

The reason I ask is because the results for those exact keywords are decent but based on the Google Adword Tool everything below that doesn't do squat. Should I be looking for a niche that has ALOT of keyword variations of my exact title with plenty of searches or am I looking at this the wrong way again as usual? hehe.. Thanks

Put your keyword phrase in every post title so you would have:

Electronic Dog Training Collars Reviews
Electronic Dog Training Collars for the Small Dog
Electronic Dog Training Collars for the Large Dog
Electronic Dog Training Collars Tips
Electronic Dog Training Collars Basics
Electronic Dog Training Collars for Obedience Training
Are Electronic Dog Training Collars Safe?
Do Electronic Dog Training Collars Work?
How To Use Electronic Dog Training Collars
Newest Electronic Dog Training Collars

Etc....
