Simply contact your credit card company and have them issue a chargeback.

    Then cancel your membership.

That's all there is to it.

If the site owner is a reputable and perhaps this was just an error on his/her part (for example, maybe he switched processors and the renewal dates got moved slightly), then start by contacting the owner to cancel your subscription.

If that doesn't work, then you can go through other routes, such as contacting payment processor. And if that doesn't work, as a last resort you can do a chargeback.

I'd suggest using a chargeback ONLY as a last resort. As I said, this could be an innocent mistake (we don't know the whole story)... in which case you don't want to slap the vendor with fees if you can handle this manner directly instead.

    Cheers,

Contact the OWNER first. Ask him whats up with the shaft?

It might be many number of reasons. So the best thing is to contact the direct party and sort it out.

If that doesnt work, then do a chargeback

I want to believe that it is an error on the part of the site owner if he is credible, except if he is otherwise.

It may be a bit difficult to accurately pass a judgement now as nothing is actually known about the site owner. In any case it is more advisable to write him to complain. But if his response indicates a delibrate art then, terminate your contract with him immediaely.
    Good luck.

I would use a Chargeback as a last resort only.

There's nothing more frustrating for an honest seller to receive a chargeback from a customer who never contacted you a single time regarding whatever issue they had. This is especially frustrating to me on Clickbank, where the customer doesn't even need my approval to get a refund - they can just contact Clickbank directly, and get a refund with no questions, yet for some reason, occasional customers get a chargeback issued (it seems to happen about once a year for me, and never from a customer who even contacted me once. If they had, I would have issued them an immediate refund).

In any case, be sure to show the seller the terms you agreed to and explain why you feel like he is breaking them. If he can't offer a reasonable response, then inform him that you plan to seek a chargeback. If he still doesn't comply, then contact your bank or credit card.

    I hope this helps.
