Wordpress problem....

I have had widgets on my wordpress site (weaver 2010) for some time, today I decided to change some and add some more but when I try to open a new widget the box closes before I can add to it. For instance i'll try drop a text widget in the 'footer area' but before I can get the code in it closes and im left with delete or close.

Any ideas as to why this is happening, has always been fine before

Never come across this problem before, I take it you're clicking on the little grey arrow next to the widget box?

yes, i then drop the widget in as normal....it opens up, title, body area for the code etc...then it quicly shuts and only gives me the options of close/delete

It's possibly due to a plugin error. You could try disabling all plugins, or one at a time, to see if it helps.

Right, thanks for your responses, I deactivated my plugins one at a time and it seems the problem is with 'Dynamic Widgets'....worked fine before, I did update wordpress so Im assuming it might be something to do with that but im not 100% sure

Seems like it, have you now re-activated the plugin?
