| ...and Start Doing! It's very hard to stop reading all this good content and great tips. I need to get off my butt, but it's hard. I check WF for a few minutes before going on, and before I know it, it's been 2 hours. Anyone else? |

Oh I pretty much live here. I've been camping out on the forum and hiding from my wife for months.

I'm going to start coming here on my lunch breaks, when I really can't do anything else, and when I get home, get to work!

I've got myself narrowed down to checking in here 5 minutes out of every hour. My next goal is to only come in twice a day for 5 minutes each time. I have to limit the amount of ebook reading I do from things I got in here. I have 35 that I go back to often but then I forget to get back to work. This place is great but it can be a huge distraction/addiction. |

I completely agree. I looked at the WSO forum because I have a WSO that I'm close to offering and I wanted to look at the current WSO headlines to see which ones were effective. Only... there were too many that were VERY effective. They made me think ... "Wow, this sounds better than what I'm currently doing, maybe I should learn about this." And with the number of people who are now offering information for free or for way less than $10 and talking about how much they earned every month from these techniques, I was sorely tempted. One of the offers I contemplated was a set of videos, which take time to watch and I thought... STOP IT, ANNE!!! Finish what you have already started! Sure you can afford the dollar cost of this new information, but you cannot afford the time cost, not right now! I think it makes sense to give yourself a time budget, in addition to a money budget. You've got to control the ratio of time spent learning new techniques versus USING new techniques. And so.... I'm going to take the dog for a walk and then get back to work (which is NOT the same as reading or writing on this forum). Anne |

good forums are addictive. I always get stuck in them for hours... sigh. but they're such a great way to learn, so when you do take action... it is effective. so, its okay I think!

I finally did something my friend told me to do two years ago. I bought a whiteboard (dry erase board) and accessories about an hour ago. I have already started writing on it. It makes me feel professional now!!

Pointless browsing ends in plenty of wasted hours, there's no use of acquiring knowledge that you will hardly ever use ... better go step by step, decide exactly what do you want to do, then go for related information rather than clicking on anything that looks interesting

Well, I did something today. I bought Shoc's WSO, even though there are grey-hat techniques. But, the resources are no longer available, or I am getting database errors. Man, I was just ready to start DOING something. $27 wasted, for now.
