Recurring payments with PP

Hey guys

I want to create a page on my blog that allows people to make a payment of (say) $5 to my PayPal which is recurring monthly.

On sign up their email address will be added to a list on my campaign monitor account so i can mail them special content each month. If they cancel the subscription on PayPal they are removed from that CM list.

I guess with PayPal and Campaign monitor both having an open API it should be possible?

Is there a plugin that will do this? I'm not looking for a full on membership plugin ... just a solution to this.

Thanks

After they bought your subscription, redirect them to the your campaign monitor subscription page (using paypal settings). They will be entered into your list.

In paypal: You can create 'pay now' buttons and subscription buttons. Right? Use that feature to create button code.

While doing that, paypal gives you an option to assign a redirect url. Use your subscription form page there.

      Hi Jeskola
When you set up your button inside your PayPal account, select the subscription button. It will then guide you through all the information you need to set up a recurring payment.

To specify where you want people to go after they have purchased In the advanced setting tab (3rd one down when setting up the subscription button) it will give you an option to specify where you want people to go after they have purchased. Simply paste in the URL of the landing page you want and that's it.

      Hope this helps

with dazkat there - you may easily go with their subscription button, or if youre using wordpress, there is a FANTASTIC plugin - wp eStore or wpeMember from tipsandtricks-hq...

btw did you know pp charges $30 per month for those?? found the hard way

You could also have it happen automatically with a little API custom programming (or so my tech guy tells me).

I believe aweber has a plugin that allows them to be automatically added to your list when someone buys.

You might need "enhanced recurring billing" if you want to charge people without making them sign up for a paypal account.
