Tracking MailChimp Signups: Referral Source and Page?

Hi,
I'm using MailChimp as well as Google Analytics and I'm wondering if anyone can tell me of a way to track the MailChimp newsletter signups to see:

1) what page on my website did they signup from?
2) what was traffic source from which they cam?

Clearly I know how to veiw traffic sources and pages in GA, I just can't seem to find a way to log this MailChimp "click".

(not I have a link on each one of my pages that someone can click on to signup. the link redirects to the mailchimp hosted signup page).

Thanks.

Regardless of the autoresponder software you're using
for your list, you'll need to set-up some hidden fields
in your web form to accept the Google Analytics data.

I use a Lead Source php script that reads the Google
Analytics cookie data and then autopopulates the
hidden fields for the relevant information.

Here's an article I learned the technique from:

Infusion CRM and Analytics (no affil.)

It takes a bit of coding so if that's not your strong suit
then you can always outsource it.

If you wanted to, you can echo back the URL of the page and have that pre-fill a hidden field in a form. I'm not very familiar with MailChimp, but I think this is possible.
