Kindle publishers...

Log in to your KDP accounts and notice the changes Amazon has made to the reporting stats for Kindle.

They added a column for "Free Units-Promo" and "Free Units-Price Match"....so no more "guess-timating" on your Kindle sales or the number of free ebooks you gave away....or free ebooks Amazon gave away as part of their price-matching.

Glad to see Amazon making changes and listening to their publishing partners.

I like it...its much more accurate reporting. Also, it helps people see if they are inadvertently giving away books because of price matching.

  Yay! I did a free day on one of my books yesterday and its nice to see exactly how many sales that is generating instead of trying to guess. Thanks KDP!

  This change HAD to come. Kindle select is so new that even amazon are still trying to work it out! I do not think that the take up rate on "free" books was anticipated.

  I am so pleased with this change! Excellent. It saves us a lot of time so that we don't need to keep calculating our books regarding the number of sales everyday. Now we can spend the time to create quality books.
