I have used loads of fake profiles on dating websites to advertise which is effective but they're often deleted.

Yes, that's what they do to keep people like you from spamming their sites with fake profiles. You know, it screws up the integrity of Online Dating websites.

well, the website layout is great. so pink tho... but that's good as that'll appeal to women. these events are always full of guys, at least here in the US anyway. Good luck on this and don't give up, looks really promising. Since this is all localized, maybe spreading the site through word of mouth would be good. Print up some good looking flyers with your website on it and hit the bars. I would be going out to bars everynight and talking to women

most people that go to bars in the evenings are singles, just what I've noticed

Your site looks decent to me. But you have only used some questionable promotional methods so far, if you want to call them that.

I think you can try the traditional approach of attracting singles with content and offering some nice platform to hangout online. That can help you to spread the word. Also when you have an event, people are more likely to come out because they will know who you are. Your company will not be perceived as a "random" company trying to organize an event.

Anything should work better than creating fake profiles or handing out cards in someone's event.

Rob I will send you a pm and you can promote your speed dating on my site for free I have no problems with that.

BUT and ONE BUT

I will only promote you and or your site if you leave the bullcrap at the door, in other words keep it real and all is good, fill things full of crap and I would rather you promoted some where else.

I will give you the secret of how to succeed in this business.

1. Hire models to come to your event as participants (Male and Female)
2. Take pictures of this event and plaster all over your site and Facebook
3. Pay a PR person to get popular London party/singles blogs to write reviews.
4. Dont have money to hire a pr person ? Invite blog owners to an event with models for free. They will love it.

I live in LA and have promoted bunch of these events in the past. If you want more info Skype me I'll give you some ideas.
