Help Needed.. New to Affiliate Marketing...

Hi guys

I am new to Affiliate marketing, and would just like some guidance...

What is the best way to get started?

I have a big interest in PPC, and I can then work WEB 2.0 around that marketing strategy...

I believe the process to follow is -

Capture page with free bribe - Front end product - Backend higher priced product to promote to the list.

With the front end sales offsetting my expenses and advertising spend.

What do you think of this strategy?

Also... one I have picked a niche... if you don't have a lot of experience in the industry, and don't know much about the industry, but its a profitable one, how to you provide continuous value to your subscriber list? Do you actually learn about the industry in detail itself? Or do you leverage the experience of those who know the industry...

Help with this would be appreciated. I seriously want to become successful at IM, and some guidance would be great

    Honestly, what I did was go to the WSO forum and look for an offer that came from a member of the forum with 1,000+ post count and bought their WSO to get me started.

    I only bought one a couple of weeks ago, and before I could even implement everything completely I had made my first affiliate sale today

    So, yeah that's my advice for you to save a little money avoiding BS WSO's and a lot of time scouring past the threads that will either overwhelm you with knowledge with someone saying that this way is great but 3 posts later someone is saying that another way is the holy grail....or the more common ones that you won't get anything out of because theyre casual and have people shouting that they made their first sale with everyone posting the same congrats you took action blah blah posts...

    Summary:

    Buy a WSO, but use common sense when looking for one (no get rich quick or ones that come from newbies, you're looking for a system), follow its instructions and you should be well on your way to making money in no time

    Take it or leave it, but I hope that I have helped

    There's nothing wrong with your sequence of events.

    Do you have the tools to conduct the affiliate model?

    Looks like you need...

    - PPC how to guide
    - Web 2.0 marketing guide

    - List management software like aweber
    - Build a squeeze page
    - Build a followup sequence ( You only need a few emails to get you started )

    Give value to your subscribers by having interesting, funny etc. emails sent to them.

    Of course you should learn all you can about the industry you're involved with.
