What Are WE if "NO" Internet?

It's funny, but I feel so drained and depressed TWO Days ago. We have an internet connection issue in our area(ISP system thing).. means.. NO WORK, NO CONNECTION and SO and So!

So what I did was..do all the writing of "transcripts" of the video training I'm about to create in the future for my youtube channel and va training!..in short.. OFFLINE works..

What about YOU? Just imagine if you don't have internet for a YEAR?

What would you DO? Just share you thoughts! Love to hear them :-)

Then I will be just a Marketer and not an Internet Marketer.

No difference - just different platform.

That's the #1 problem on the Warrior Forum. People don't understand there is no such thing as "Internet Marketing."

Marketing is Marketing! The internet is just a Media. No different than TV, Radio, Newspapers, Magazines, Telemarketing, etc...

I can "market" with any media. People treat the internet as though it's different, it's not.

If you can't market on other media platforms then you sure in hell can't market on the internet. Very successful companies use ALL media platforms, not just the Internet.

Do you really believe that Frank Kern can only market on the Internet?

      Well said Jill.

As Mark Brownlow once said about email: We are not email markters! We are marketers who use email.

Every year I try to unplug for a week or two of vacation camping. One of the criteria for a good camping site is the complete lack of cell towers anywhere around it!

I would be making LOTS of babies

We have lots of power cuts here so i would be used to it somewhat but for a year, well i would hope that all my IM had made me enough money to build a nice cabin up in the rockies where i could go without any need for the internet and live out my life with my beautiful wife, start a family, get some huskies and CHIIILLLLL!

I've got through the occasional power cut where I live as well but a whole year without the internet? Man... I dunno. If money isn't an issue, I'd just go ahead with what I usually do and hang out with friends/family and enjoy my non-web-based hobbies. I must admit that I'm pretty addicted to the web though and not merely for the purposes of making money online

I would go creating local companies to sell later on to investors. Basically, do the same I do online but in a different platform, like Jill said.

Amily.. yeah.. I guess it's not gonna be an issue to people like you who's been into the world of business even without the invention of internet.. but to those who literally started to make money just online.. I don't know..I guess it's gonna be hard for them :-).

Dead easy answer, I'd revert straight back to direct response marketing, placing half and full page advertisements in magazines / newspapers aimed at my demographic / target audience.

If the Internet stopped today, it wouldn't make a single bit of difference to my projected income.

    Cool.

If there's NO internet.. I would probably join an MLM aka network marketing company and start learning my basics from there..

The reasons why I started out in IM is because it's v cost effective.. and I'm sure I able to learn a lot like copy-writing, dealing with customers, hiring people, outsourcing etc etc.. which are ALL essential to building up a great businesss..

So again if there's no Internet, the best place for me to start off would be MLM/Network marketing..

Sloanjim has definitely made a point here. We all need to treat Internet Marketing as a serious-long-term business in order to succeed in this field. However, it seems to me that not everyone treats IM like a real business so that's the reason of probably why we are seeing more spam blogs/comments around the internet these days.

If there is really no internet, I think I will start off the offline business by investing the time to learn how to sell to people and and how to market effective using the offline mediums.

The next thing that I will do is to go for live networking event where I will be able to learn from real entrepreneurs or business owners on how they operate their offline business successfully.

I agree with the warriors who mention that the Internet is just merely another medium that we use to market the business.
