Do you have analytics installed ?
Do you know where the visitors coming from ?
You will need at least 100 targeted visitors to find out your closing rate.
Are you trying to drive targeted traffic ?
Sorry, but scribd and slideshare are not serious traffic sources.

Yes i installed stat couter which is just like Google analytics,

As far as these sites (Scribd, Slideshare) now i got an idea that they are not helpful.

How do i find out my closing rate.

How many visitors have you had to your site already ?

I suggest using G Analytics, it has great capabilities and much better than most counters. It will tell you where your traffic is coming from and how its behaving on your site.

    Hi Shahid,

Here are some quick, simple, and very important suggestions you can do that mey help you very quickly:

    1) Start by joining niche-specific blog's and forum's, and begin to comment in them. Adding valuable suggestions and feedback, then leaving a link back to your site.

    2) Create your list. Have a 1 page special giveaway of a valuable video or pdf product. You need a way to follow-up with you 'traffic'. Wherever you are getting it from.

    3) Build a relationship with your subscriber. Follow up with you new subscriber. Provide them with more great free content, ie: blog articles, YouTube videos, slide-show's, etc.

    4) Contact other website owners in your niche, and ask to JV with them. Perhaps present a special offer for their subscribers only, ie: a teleseminar, a webinar, a free report.

    5) After these steps are complete, THEN suggest your offer to your subscribers. Only after these crucial steps are followed will you subscriber really take you serious and begin to TRUST what it is you are offering them.

Lastly, do your best to keep providing wonderful free value. Within that content you can suggest the benefits to the paid version with special discounts for being a subscriber.

As humans we like to feel understood, and we also like a good discount!

I believe you can also buy traffic and try things like JV Giveaways, they can help even when you are on the free level

You'd want to rather build a list by giving something free away from those semi-targeted visitors from scribd and slideshare. Then build some sort of relationship before bringing up your product. You'd find healthy conversions with this method
