Finally, after 5yrs I have a Paypal account

Hi All:
As of today I am the holder of paypal account to receive funds. Previously I was not able to receive funds via paypal because of my country but could only make payments. However about a day ago i became aware a paypal policy that allows someone to link a paypal account to a visa debit card.Therefore I checked my bankers and got the debit card.

my question:

Is it better and possible to the take the buyer to a download page rather than taking the buyer directly to a zip file

    I would say it's better to have a download page (preferably with an expiring link) than taking the buyer directly to a zip file.
    - the zip file starts to download automatically... and it may confuse less experienced buyers
    - on a download page you can offer: more related products; an upsell; subscription for updates etc.

      Congrats for your paypal account! I believe it's better to have a download/thank you page rather than taking them directly to a zip file.
